This came into my mind after seeing that video. Ah JulyZerg "The God Of War"!. WHY?! EVERY DAMN POST! WHY?!! WHERE DOES THE MADNESS END?!!! I can understand why you think it's an overreaction. I was on your side at one point. We've already had this conversation about him, but the fact remains I think this kid is annoying. I dislike him. | ||

Some of the names are hilarious though. Dragoon = zhi zhu (spider) Hydralisk = kou shui (spit) Zergling = xiao gou (little dog) Carrier = da fei ji (big plane) | ||

He thinks that when someone is annoyed by his praise, that we're denying the greatness of all the players he mentions. That (in his words) we don't recognize all the skillful people he mentions and that we get pissed off because of our egos(?) You think people call JulyZerg fat out of malice? Carlodajin, please try to understand the next few things I'm going to say to you. On this forum, the vast majority of people know VERY WELL how great JulyZerg, Boxer, Reach, etc. are. We appreciate probably BETTER than you how much they deserve the titles they receive, like "God of War" or "Emperor," and they are common knowledge to nearly everyone here. And one thing is for certain: the people here have shown the utmost respect to all the legendary players you keep bringing up LONG before you or I were here. That is exactly why people get upset with you. You keep mentioning these names as if you're trying to teach us or something. It insults me that you think that we're not aware of these people or we don't respect them. If you think that anyone has ever denied their greatness or "egos" have ever been part of this, then you really don't understand why people get annoyed with your praise. They are not annoyed with "I love Boxer, he's awesome." They're annoyed with "I love Boxer, the Terran Emperor, the Legend Of Korea" because his title is so well known that it sounds condescending on your part to have to mention it. So please, by all means continue your praise. Everyone has their favorites and we all know the greats. But STOP giving us these history lessons and fun facts that we've learned long ago about the legendary players that we already revere. Oh, and about how you think I feel about JulyZerg? I am a zerg player who had always gotten obliterated by Terrans all the time, and had all but given up hope until July stepped onto the scene. Please, don't lecture me about his greatness. Only the true JulyZerg fans like him enough more than the others to be able to poke fun at him and call him the "Fat Overlord." It's an affectionate term when I use it and a nasty term when you use it. And that video? It has been in a folder called "July" on my computer since it was shown here on TL last year. Carlo, you think WE were being the arrogant ones? I'm sorry for calling you annoying- that was the only insult I made about you. I'm sure you're really not completely an annoying person. But I still dislike you, and that's not an insult. It's my opinion based on YOUR behavior. Fin. Edit: Oh, and when I mentioned "the video" in my previous posts, I was talking about the one from the original post. Not yours. I tried to keep mentioning it so I wouldn't hijack the damn thread. | ||
