This making me think that there should be happening a tournament already, with no news so far it looks more or less abandoned. Why making public announcements like this when no word about it after? A bit bitchy.

They doesnt appear with anything on the matter, and when someone said like "wtf is happening" you appear calling him crybaby. Having progamers streaming is not like having tournaments like last VNSL. If you are satisfied to watch just streams many people including me are not and you should deal with it. Personally I dont find much hype in watching streams and i do it rather to kill some time than anything else. BTW do you get any money from afreeca?

To be fair you said that it was "A bit bitchy," to make an "announcement and then post no word about it after" and I promptly provided you with a post that happened less than a month ago that is on the previous page, meaning that you didn't put in the tiny amount of effort necessary to satisfy your query before you to complain and point fingers about it. Also, they didn't come in and just say "wtf is happening," which is a valid question, and instead shifted straight to the blame game saying "Afreeca doesn't care about BW." These are vastly different things. I already conceded that the lack of offline leagues is saddening and that I too would like another, but bitching about it on forums accomplishes nothing and only makes that poster seem like a child who didn't get his candy when he expected it. Lol yea Afreeca funneled some of that BW money into having me post on TL shutting down entitled people instead of investing it into an offline tournament, you got me there. PS Thank you for doing what you do for foreign tournaments.

I saw it, but its more vague than the announcement they made at VNSL finals after which nothing happened. True. It happens, people get emotional, no need to judge every word. Its also true that viewers have the right to ask for what they are promised and get angry for not getting it. I did not say we should be talking down Afreeca. All I said is that you are being a little too defensive regarding that. ![]() I just hope that something happens in the summer but then I again, it is a little disappointing to be promised something in the first half of the year and end up with a possibility that we MAY see something.

Blizzard: For all I know they have their schedule to keep with their WCS events and that everything should end before Blizzcon meaning that Afreeca would have to put SC2 as their first priority because its their biggest moneymaker for the studio Studio: god knows what their schedule is like and how much time the studio takes not just for broadcasting their first priority SC2 events but also for cutting promos and other mini events, plus whatever the staff is handling. Sponsors: We rarely hear about the tournaments that almost happened, but this happens way too often, they might be having a lot of trouble with securing sponsors for the tournament, you have to understand that unlike for SC2 they don't have the additional backing from Blizzard to get a sponsor and while I imagine KONGDOO to be a huge help I honestly doubt a lot of people are stepping forward to sponsor a BW event at the current situation, I'm pretty sure this is the biggest reason why we haven't had any announcement yet. So yeah, you can be mad at afreeca for shooting themselves in the foot for announcing something and not delivering an NSL when we wanted it. but saying they don't care is absurd and moronic.

There will be a big break after Season 2 of SSL/GSL and Proleague in which they could hopefully do something. But I guess time will tell.

That game needs more promotion and tournaments. If Riot has to finance it all by themselves they will go bankrupt before tomorrow. But no, afreeca invests the money in some jackass on TL. I bet afreeca have some personal beef with Riot and want to see them die. Everything else would be illogical at this point.
