BoxeR stood the test of time but not flawlessly, he was the undisputed no.1 player but dropped down a bit to "top tier player". Competition is just a lot more stiffer than it was in Garimtos heyday and players are more skilled and probably practice more too. I hope Garimto wins another OSL. That would be awesome. But only time will tell if he's REALLY got it. Boxer's actually a good comparision becuase not only did he fall to "top tier player", at one point he fell reaaaaally far down if I remember correctly, reworked his entire game to fit the current trends of macro play, and resurrected himself from the bottom. It's this kind of "reinvention" of himself that Garimto has to go through, so it is a good comparison. (except Boxer never had such a long leave of absence like Garim) | ||

Boxer was never anything less than a top tier player. You know why people freaked out? Because Boxer didn't make the semi-finals in like a year and a half or something. Oh no~ Boxer didn't get top 4. I never understood how people can look at Boxer's overall and say he ever fell short of the highest tiers of pro-gamers. | ||
