Definitely is, but I don't feel that haircut compliments his face too well. It just puffs up and looks messy. I liked the mid-length straight hair he wore when he was younger. Also, it's a relief to see him still playing! Starcraft without Bisu would be such a sad thing.

Oh and Protoss. YEAAAAH. (Given his stature in BW and Korean esports, I'd go for the "stall until you can" technique and milk as much money out of the fans as possible, like having subscriber-only live shows [not THAT kind, but like, FPOV playing minesweeper or something]. By the time he gets out of the army, say at 33 or so, he can have an Oldboy kinda show and he wouldn't suck as badly as NalRa!)

So what happens if you don't get enlisted by age 35, does the government fine you? What are the sanctions? Or maybe I should google this some time.

I have Korean friends who lived abroad and then returned to Korea for their service and the following Reserve period (for 10 years after your service they will recall you twice a year for some orientation stuff). But beyond whatever the government does, the Korean people are very harsh on those found to have dodged the service.

You would just get ostracized. The only person they think it's okay if they don't go is their own sons lol. It's a social responsibility. If everyone else has to go and you don't, people will really despise you. Like if you have a younger sibling who doesn't do chores but you have to ![]() Even for Bisu, it would be damaging.

They should all go at once and we can have another elephant in the room article. I heard from somewhere that Flash might be able to dodge it, because there's an exemption for people who win a gold medal in the Asian Games, and Flash won the 2009 Asian Indoor Games. I'm not sure if that actually qualifies, though.

The entire squad didn't have to serve in the military because of the Bronze. (It's also mostly an under-23 squad) That's kind of why the South Koreans compete really hard at the Olympics.

While that's a great scenario, its unlikely to ever be considered something equivalent to winning a olympic medal. Not only that, there's been some debate over the fairness for professional sports players about having their military service replaced with only a few months of training in Korea these past few years, so yeah....while it would be nice to have Flash in the scene longer, its almost impossible.
