Don't know what AHCL is? No problem! To say succinctly, it is a Korean Clan League played much like Proleague, with each match being a Bo9 All-Kill format. We are now in the play-off stages, and boy has it been exciting so far! Last night we had a fantastic series between NsP and LoteM, as they fought tooth-and-nail to advance in the Playoffs. Now fresh from battle, LoteM moves on to challenge WHITE, the juggernaut clan that finished second during the regular season. Join us for a recap of the past night, and a preview for the coming night, and get ready to earn some Broodwar hipster points!

LoteM 5-3 NsP
So a couple things to note:
- Thankfully, despite worries, Saber and Native (Light) were able to show up for the match, and proved to be essential for LoteM's victory.
- Lazy showed some spectacular micro throughout the series, but his decision-making and choice of strategy proved to be his downfall against DAKS and Native (Light)
- Despite his lacking early-midgame bio play, First was able to showcase some extremely impressive latemech against Saber. There's quite a lot of promise in the amateur First!
- DAKS, our other star amateur, also showed some extremely impressive games last night, against ZerG (Hogil) and Lazy. Must see games!
- On the other hand, however, Brave really blew it. Had he been able to snipe Saber, something he's entirely capable of, the series could have ended with a different result.
- Overall, a fantastic series with a lot of great games. Give it a watch!

Playoffs Round 2 Preview

WHITE
WHITE is one damn scary clan, with some of the strongest expros at their disposal. EyeWater[WHITE] (Shuttle) and Mind[WHITE] have been regular participants in AHCL so far, and are almost guaranteed to come out for tonight's match. 0[WHITE] (Movie) and Killer[WHITE] are also very real possibilities too, although they have not participated nearly as much. To top things off, WHITE can also send out some pretty good amateurs, HERO[WHITE] (not to be confused with our beloved ex-STX pro) and Bit[WHITE], both respectable players that can hold their own.
Should WHITE choose to be nice and not send only expros, HERO[WHITE] is guaranteed to be sent out. He's a great amateur player with strong standard gameplay, and he almost beat Larva from a huge disadvantage. He'll be mainly used to buy time, but don't be surprised if he manages to take a win or two.
Predictions
LoteM showed some great form last night against NsP, but may run into a lot of problems against WHITE. In particular, WHITE's Protoss cards, EyeWater[WHITE] (Shuttle) and 0[WHITE] (Movie), pose significant threats to LoteM's Native_Lt (Light) and Saber_Lt. Perhaps Bye_Lt (sSak) will finally join the fight to help combat this problem, but it is absolutely crucial for LoteM to have Native_Lt (Light) ready in case Killer[WHITE] decides to show up. The lineup and sniping advantage is in WHITE's favor, but this is really a match that can go either way
WHITE 5-4 LoteM
