4pool and 5pool comparison:
Using bloodbath, bottom right position, good splits.
4pool - 1:52 and ended with 4 drones
5pool - 1:55 and ended with 6 drones

Dont matter 4/5 pool are weak builds 9 pool is much better than both.

The regeneration isn't nearly fast enough. Just like 1 scv vs 1 probe or 1 scv vs 1 drone, scv always wins, this is 10 scv vs 10 probe or 9 drone. lol scvs are not stronger then probes and drones... They have smaller range and dont regenerete.. 10 scv attack is sure death. unless opponent is totally dumb and combat scv straight up.

Of course one scv beat one probe if it's a battle to death but not if the probe backs of and regenerate energy..

First zealot / lings will be of more use then first marines.

lol Do you think you're going to be able to spend all day waiting for regeneration? Are you ever going to be able to use that extra range in a b.net game where there's latency?

to all those suggesting that 10scv rush would actually work i suggest you actually try it out in a real game. it's good in theory i guess, but by the time you get to their base they already outnumber you and also have the advantage of having more workers joining the fray while the battle is underway. it IS certain death and the only way scv rushing is ever effective is when you have a partner scv rushing with your.

I have tried it out in a real game and had it work. With that aside, I was only arguing with those who said it wouldn't work because probes/scvs have regeneration.

edit: That is, if it doesn't work, it's because they're producing zealots/lings, not because they're getting extra workers with regeneration.

Surely they don't fight your scvs straight up. They wait on zeal/lings. If you attack a building they try and gank an scv, when you turn to fight, they're gone. So either you chase them round while zee builds or you slowly lose through attrition.

Yes it's not the regeration factor at all its the fact that if scvs target one worker you can run it around for 3 or 4 seconds. So on and so on just bying time to eventualy just outmicro with workers or get a zea/lings/or rines then its over.
