I'm really looking forward to this event, I wonder which of the Chinese players will make it out of the qualifiers, and who the sponsor's favorites are :D @michaelxie Any idea on what dates the playoffs are going to be at? Qualifiers are starting on 22/23 right?

Just shy of $25,000 for first place is sick. If this becomes a regular thing, playing BW will become a viable profession again! Players can win lots of money from tournaments, while big tickets like Jangbi also earn a smaller but reliable income streaming on the side (kind of like SC2 pros make money, I guess). This might be the best news to happen to BW in years. On September 14 2013 00:32 isaskee wrote: I really wish sAviOr would go and try to participate. Does anyone else think/hope that's a possibility? That would be disastrous for BW.

Where do you have that information from? I heard he wasn't even playing brood war on a high level since they didn't allow him to compete in the Sonic starleague. Anyway, i understand it's a controversy, but everyone should get a second chance. Even him. Though i am biased, because he has always been my favorite progamer, i still think that getting a second chance would be fitting. If he is humble enough he himself would decide not to do it. About him moving to lol, i'm always sad when someone leaves the BW/sc2 scene for LoL. Just makes me sad.
