It's not like he was forced or made to quit SC2, he made the decision for himself. So as a JangBi fan I want him to do what makes him happy; and as a BW fan, I would be really happy about seeing him play BW for a year. this. You can't expect BW fans to be sad because he quit sc2. I have lost all interest in sc2 over a year ago, so what? But ex pros retiring is GOOD news for me, when they are going to stream BW. Those two games share their player pool of korean pro's, so your loss is my gain.

Yeah, I never really understood why people retire when they're in a similar case. Don't practice when you decide you want to retire but finish out any leagues you're in if they're as big as Code S. You might win a few extra dollars.

Anyone who have any knowledge of BW can easily see this and dont really need an interview but I am sure someone already provided one anyways. It no brainer that terran in BW were the "turtle" race since terran had to go mech thus being very similiar to protoss but they also had the choice to go bio too in TvZ but any other match up they had to play a turtle mech style. Protoss style in BW revolve around a bunch of tier 1 (zealot and dragoon) units similar to terran going bio and playing very aggressive with them.

The BW protoss = SCII Terran is quite interesting. Completely missed how dragoons are almost like marauders(in the sense of level and path to get them) etc...

I understand your optimism, but it doesn't really sound like he's going to be playing BW all that much either. I'm sure he's put his life on hold for his progaming career, and now that he's accepting his military service, he's got a lot of catching up to do. That's pretty much how I read 'going home to take a year off' anyways. It's not just Flash; Rainbow said that's why he played Terran in SC2, because the harassment options reminded him the most of Reaver dropping. This was during the open seasons, sorry I can't find the specific vod. There's also an old cast of Artosis having fun with talking about why MKP changed from Protoss to Terran ("Marauders are kinda like Dragoons and 'T' is still the button he presses when he wants to kill everything"). Plus, there's Artosis who went from BW Terran to SC2 Zerg (because Zerg was OP during Beta) and now happily turtles away as SC2 Protoss.
