... oh, my, God. This is probably the saddest "professional" game that I have ever seen. Foru's position was that of a strategist's dream. Heck, he could've even MCed an SCV and teched to tanks and BCs if he wanted to. But, rather than exercise the strategic options that were open to him, he decided to just naively throw his units at Nada's fortifications -.-;; . Furthermore, was it really that hard to take out his island? Not to mention his other poor decisions after dominating the map with excellent play...

Wow, foru really threw this game away

. Must be extrememly embarassing for him, too.

I had always heard referrals to this game as a reason for foru being really amazing pvt, but I mean he _lost_ cause he made that many gates. =[

ForU lost cause he thought he had won (WHICH HE HAD IF HE HAD ACTUALLY TRIED AFTER THE 10 MINUTE POINT), at one point he had something 4000 mins and 1500 gas compared to nada's like 600/100. WHY DIDN'T HE LIKE MASS CARRIER? Or drop? Or deny expos? Or do something other then try to attack nada's 4000 turret/ 4000 siege tank wall.

You have to admit, though: after he had the game won, ForU played like a newb =/. IMO, he would've been fine if he'd just stopped Nada's island expo and let his money build up from his huge income so that he could fully take advantage of having 45-50 gates to rebuild his army quickly. It's also kinda funny how after his assault failed, he still kept making gateways -.- .

Edit: Come to think of it, fOru's attack was like trying to break down a locked door with one, fierce, all-out headbutt: it's almost guaranteed to fail, and once it's done, you're essentially knocked out and helpless for a while after. Not to mention that there are a lot of smarter ways to break down a door than to use your head =/.

i hate pvt games with only macro/low level units, make me think players don't really enjoy the game and they just wanna get it over with :|

Bleww, most of these people's brains don't function well enough to concock(sp?) such ideas.

Anyways, I havn't watched it yet, so I can say maybe FORU truely did play like a newb, but I don't think any newbie could last long enough to get 50 gateways against [ReD]NaDa... And from the sounds of things, its a long game and I can't see a newbie getting into a long game with NaDa. Furthermore, I think you shouldn't judge a player over one small game, and mass carriers doesn't always work, even 30...
NaDa has the required micro skills to make all those resources go to shame by locking each and every one down or using cloaked wraiths and spoting obs with scan, destroying, medics to blind obs, ect.ect.ect.
Sorry if i'm over judging since I didn't watch rep yet, just from the sounds of things, so these are only educated guesses. - -
To sum things up:
FORU played well early game (from what I hear) got cocky, thought he had the game, slacked a little maybe and ended up losing in the end. He also screwed up I believe, with a poor attack. So my question for you is: You've never ever, ever messed up in a game? If you say no, you are a liar or you havn't played much. And secondly: Can any of you posters beat NaDa? Come close? Didn't think so... Only top players on these forums could come close, and these people didn't post.
