su go 수고

means 'it was a good time' or 'gg'

su go is something u would say in certain situations irl too in korean, like if u worked together with people to accomplish a goal, after u'd say sugo blahblah

not a compliment, just a respectful saying
why so 진지해?

That's son of a bitch in korean.

There are a lot of insults in korean, but I rather not mention them.

Someone long time ago, made a thread and posted like a shitloads of korean phrases also, he posted a lot of whore-used starcraft words in korean. But I've tried to find it and with the worsts results ever.

----------------------------------------------------

Some koreans also use the ㅈㅈ as gg and stuff.

babo = 바보 = stupid
Ddorang = Gay = 또랑

fixed: thx rek.

Mm, doesn't 즐 only have a bad meaning among korean kids? Like, if you say 즐겜하세요 it means 'enjoy your game' or something?

And 지랄 = bullshit I thought was the best translation, but maybe not? Also, I always thought 헐 and 헉 were the same lol.

Korean curses are so refreshing to listen to, if done well

I tell elementary school kids to shut the fuck up when they use them in PC bangs.

Actually FA, 즐 does have a negative connotation, although very lightly

It can mean:
1) a prefix meaning 'enjoy' from 즐기다 = to enjoy, that's why 즐겜 means 'enjoy the game'
2) it means piss off but much more lightly, it's not even considered a 'bad word' really. It is used very widely on the internet.

지랄 jiral which is one of the most common words means bullshit indeed. Most often used to detect bullshit when there's someone who doesn't know what he's talking about.

From watching Ghouls and Ghosts on Afreeca, I've picked up

오 = I assume this means high five as in well done
오리 = A duck (The wizard turns Arthur into a duck sometimes)

Whilst on the subject, to save me from cluttering the general up with topics, can I get a translation for:

http://www.boomspeed.com/cshuskie/kor.bmp

I'm trying to sign in to nateon to help a few people with pronunciation but it keeps giving me that message.

지랄 ( pronounced Gee-Ral) means "Tantrum, throwing fits." It's very bad to say.
You can use it as an adjective: "지랄같은 WhatisProtoss" ( WhatisProtoss is like a "gee-ral", he is crazy/throwing fit/etc )
Or it can be used as a verb: "지랄하내" (He is throwing a fit/What he's saying is pure shit.)
"지랄발광", "지랄하내"

You don't say 잘가 (Go well) that often. People usually say "ㅂㅂ" (Bye Bye) or "ㅂㅂ2" or "안녕" ㅐㄱ "바이!" or "나중에 봐" (see you later)

ㅇㅇ = 응 = Yes ( NOT interested ㅡㅡ )
ㅡ.ㅡ = -_- ( NOT >.< )

-_- = "Eh, wtf...", Narrowing eyes
>.< = "AHH!", Squeezing eyes shut tightly

즐 = KIN = enjoy it

if u ask a gook to play u 1:1 and they type 즐 or KIN (the word sideways) they are telling u to fuck off

how do you pronouce KIN, i could never get it, it sounds like eat in chinese which is chi in pinyin, or ch in chaff, but it sounds like theres an s sound in it too

Why do you use the word "gook?" You fucking cracker. -_-;;

Korean. American. White. Asian. Okay?

you have an attractive personality

I'm sure you wouldn't be happy if the word "chink" was used. Have some self-pride.

It originated during the Korean war....it was a slur against Koreans but then it just stuck on till the Vietnam War cuz of vets who were in both.

I shortened things, like 노스탈 (nostal) instead of 노스탈지아 (nostalgia) just because no one ever says the whole thing. And yeah 로템 - Lotem

I'm still learning, so thank you very much for the map names. the easiest one to learn is luna cuz It has just 4 symbols as the word itself.

루나! =)

"ㅎ" and "G" are both located in same spot on a keyboard.
So I'm sure that person forgot to change his language by an accident.

ㅈㅈ means GG

why is being sensitive to racist/derogatory comments something to "lol" about? Some people don't mind I guess but some people do. Is it so hard to type korean instead of "gook"?

Calm down, Rekrul is like all Americans (the whole fucking continent), we usually tend to use insults to refer to each other, for example: I have this friend who calls me a "spic", because I am hispanic, sounds like an insult, and it is one, but I'm not ofended to that.

I know some people have different kids of minds, and sometimes those words really hurt them, but don't pay too much attention to those .

What is Chinese born American? Born in China? US Citizenship? Chinese-American? Chinese citizenship? Green card?

I always hear "something" born American in the US. What the hell is that? It does not make sense.

Usually Koreans do not care about citizenship. If you are Chinese, then you say, "I am Chinese." "중국 사람이에요"

If you need to know how to type Korean, try this site:

http://www.arts.monash.edu.au/korean/computing/keyboard.html

It should explain how to change your Microsoft settings and the layout of the keyboard thereafter. You can even paste little stickers on it if you like.

죽을래 I think.. I can never get this one right -_- wnrdmffo
I'm not sure, but maybe it's 나가잇써요 instead of 쏘, but I'm not sure.

바이바이 = qkdlqkdl = Bye Bye
잘하네요 = wkfgkspdy = You are good

Hm, I think it's 잘하시네요 but I could be wrong?

저글링 = wjrmffld = Zergling
무탈 = anxkf = MUtalisk

뮤탈 maybe..

러커 = fjzj = Lurker
다크 = ekzm = Dark Templar
잘지내 = wkfwlso = How are you? = jal ji ne?
네 = sp = Ne = Yes
gksrmf = Hangul = Hangeul
닥쳐 = dak chyeo = STFU!
정말바보 = jeong mal ba bo = really foolish
짱 = jjang = best
제 이름은 푼키임니다 = my name is funkie
몇살이야 = how old are you?

Enjoy

Probably got it from us both yea :>
Moderatortell the guy that interplanatar interaction is pivotal to terrans variety of optionitudals in the pre-midgame preperatories as well as the protosstinal deterriggation of elite zergling strikes - Stimey n | Formerly FrozenArbiter

Both are correct

나가잇쏘요 = skrkdltThdy means Get away from me

It actually means Go out or He/She is outside Depending on the context.
