I will definitely give bw a try when this comes online.
I've been wanting to give bw a serious try for a while, but never actually did it.
Still, playing single player 10 years has it's limits.

Only because System.out.print (or any equivalent command in another language that displays a line of text on the screen) is basically the first thing you'll ever be taught in programming/computer science, so you'll know it even if you attend only the first day of class or read the first section in a guide to programming lol.

TL should have a significantly higher than average programming-literate population because this is a video game site, and it's not too unreasonable to assume that we'll have a sizable "Computer Science to learn to make video games" population.

Once I saw the beauty of BW, I realized that any game that I program won't be as perfect thus giving up programming for good!

I'm just waiting for this server to come online to start playing BW again. ICCUP has become a drag, haven't played in months now. Can't wait for this server, seems like it's going to be pretty rad.

We found a web developer, no need for more applications

As for an update on our progress, we've started on a pretty skin for the launcher, the site is progressing adequately, and the other parts are somewhat slow but still happening. I've got two weeks holidays so I'll be working hard on getting the site complete, and I'll also start work on the clans/teams part of the server, which currently doesn't exist.

Hey, I know this has nothing to do with the topic. But i cant make a post for three days =/. if anyone would help me with some issues with windows8 on sc bw it be much helpful. sc on my windows 8 runs great but I cant look at peoples profiles with out everything getting scatterd and crazy with diffrent windows popping up. And when im looking through games none of the game info refreshes the writing just keeps building up. can anyone help me weith these problems?

hmm actually not sure what the problem is. You should consider starting a new thread because it'll stand out instead of being buried here between the posts about the server.
