SSL is the only tournament where we can watch professional play. Imagine taking away every major tournament for SC2 away (GSL, OSL, MLG, Dreamhack, IPL, Iron Squid, ESWC, WCS, LSC, etc.). You would be just as pissed as we are... | ||

My point here is It literally doesn't matter what blizzards statement is. There isn't anything they can say other than "oops, wrong tournament" that could make the situation acceptable. It's a massive dick move no matter which way you slice it. This is a pretty damn big deal for the BW community, and in this case its moderately analogous to questioning people for cursing out their sister's rapist face to face. Yes, that's overly dramatized, but it's pretty analogous. BW really is that kind of meaningful for many of us here and this is a serious, serious blow.
