지난 09-10시즌 우리 KT롤스터를 리그 정상에 올려놓은 우승의 주역 '우정호'

...이후 갑작스런 림프구성 백혈병 발병으로 우리 곁을 잠시 떠나 항암치료에 전념하고 있는데요.

다행히 골수이식자가 나타나 골수이식을 받으며 상태가 호전되는가 하더니,
부작용 및 합병증으로 인해 최근 몸 상태가 매우 악화되었습니다.
현재 백혈구 수치가 현저하게 하락되어 몸의 면역력이 거의 제로에 가깝게 떨어진 상태로 제대로 몸을 가누기가 힘듭니다.

백혈구 수치를 다시 올려놓아야 추가 치료 및 또 다른 골수이식을 받을수가 있는데, 수치를 올리기 위해선 백혈구 성분현혈 지원이 필요합니다.
허나 우리 선수들의 수량으로는 턱없이 부족하네요..

10~40대 초반의 건강한 분의 <O형 혈액 기증자>가 필요합니다.
기증자의 경우 3일간 검사 및 헌혈을 하게 되는데,
1,2일차 검사에는 약 1시간이, 3일차 헌혈에는 약 5시간이 소요됩니다.
검사를 통과하신 분들의 소중한 혈액은 정호에게 직접 전달되게 됩니다.

3일이란 시간이 소요되며 소중한 혈액을 받아야 하는등
매우 부담될 수 있는 내용이라 말씀드리기가 조심스럽지만 상황이 상황인만큼 염치 불구하고 여러분께 도움을 요청드립니다.

If what I can tell is correct. It seems that he needs blood donars. O type from what I can read, if foreign fans who are in Korea and have O blood type, I think should get in contact with KT to donate, I'm going to check with my parents to see if they know my blood type.

short dirty translation:

violet has had a sudden recurrence of his leukemia thingy
fortunately there was a bone marrow donor available so he got the transfusion straight away
however there have been some side effects and complications following it that have weakened him
he currently lacks a lot of white blood cells

kt is looking for any o-type blood donors
the whole process for donors will take three days (the transfusion)

Just checked with family, My mother is Type O, going to check with the doctor back in Canada to see if I am the same. If thats the case, I will donate blood, I have more than enough already haha ^^

On blood donation:
Its like the most heroic thing you can do with perhaps the least amount of effort.
For those of us that aren't in Korea and can't give Violet some our juicy blood, perhaps we should try make something or do something so that when Violet next checks the thread he gets a big boost
