He made a bunch of roaches and kind of a-moved to victory. It wasn't an all-in or anything (Jaedong was taking a fourth and teching behind it), but Lizzy played a little greedy and had bad Forcefields, so he just sort of died earlier than you'd expect.

I dont like this system, but I have to agree with him, who excels in both games shall prevail, and with they getting better at this scale, it will be a big challange

Yeah, basically Lizzy played really poorly and Jaedong didn't expect to just win with that attack. He wasn't really teching or expanding as fast as he should have, but his focus on constant aggression payed off.

Jaedong is going to crush, I can't wait.

[Losing in SC2] feels different from losing in BW

This makes me sad
I imagine that he is feeling there is less he can do to determine the outcome of a game.

Edit: because he is inexperienced with the game

Look, I don't know if you have a bias against zerg or something. But the dong did not a move. He was attacking in 2 pronged attacks and poking while controling 3 control groups. Did you even watch the video? He actually set his control keys to 1 roach group, 1 roach group, 1 ling group. And he was moving them all in different directions time to bait out forcefields before going for a surround. You can say any zergs a move for all I care, but the dong definitely showed he didn't a move.

A Korean BW-pro referencing a foreigner in an official interview when talking about his strategy choice and build. Mind=blown.

I know, I read that myself but in that situation he was doing an interview with a foreign SC2 news/community site and not with the korean media. I think this is pretty cool.

Seeing those two up against each other would have been way more epic, even if its on the SCII arena.

I think it is because he is still in the 'learning' fase of SC2.

I think I understand what he meant by that bit. In the ace match vs Lizzy he thought he was going to lose but managed to win and he didn't really understand why. I think he controlled the situation well thats how he won but from his perspective it was a lot closer than it looked to an observer. Plus he lost to that army composition last time he played against protoss so he wouldn't be all that comfortable after that.
