When Jaedong lost to KT Rolster's
Crazy-Hydra in SC2, it was deemed that he was lacking in terms of skill in the new game. However, Jaedong put on a completely new face in the ace match and lead his team to victory by beating 
Lizzy. [I swear his name was Motive when I was watching it live, but oh well, I may be mistaken] Jaedong said "It's too early to be making judgements about my SC2 skills" and emphasized that "I am practicing hard, so I hope the fans can have patience."Q Your team's first win.
A It tasted so sweet. Even though I dropped a game in today's match, the team was desperate for a victory. I think the pain of losing went away with our team winning. It feels good to have won in the ace match.
Q Amongst TBLS [
Bisu, Stork, 
Flash, Jaedong], Flash was the first to win. Does that bother you?A Nope. It's not like we've been losing every game, either. However it does add pressure, and I'm sure the other two have been feeling the same. At this point, there are expectations for TBLS and other A class players to produce results. I feel that way as well. I have been practicing hard. My head is filled with thoughts of Starcraft 24/7. It's hard to truly relax even during breaks. For my fans, I need to bring my skills up a notch higher.
Q Were you planned to play in the ace match?
A I was confident. I think the coaching staff put faith in me as well.

Stephano's play in the ace match.A Yes, I followed his play style. Honestly, I don't have the confidence that I will win every game in SC2 just yet. I don't have a solid grasp on the underlying concepts. I don't think I am at a level where you can compare my play to that of other zerg players such as Stephano.
Q Were you expecting Lizzy in ace.
A Yes. However I didn't prepare for the ace match. I trusted my experience. I focused more on preparing for Crazy-hydra. I feel the situation leading up to my victory in ace was quite strange and I just somehow won [Anybody have any idea what he is referring to? Was the game strange or did something happen? Only watched the ace match and I don't understand SC2 lol]
Q You lost your game to Crazy-hydra even though you had the advantage.
A Even as I was playing I could feel my skill was not up to par. Even when I win it doesn't feel like I won. I need some more time. [Losing in SC2] feels different from losing in BW [T/N: The original article made an error here, so I tried to guess what JD would have said given the context. The original article says "It feels different from losing in Starcraft:Wings of Liberty (ie SC1) [sic]." which was why I was confused.]. That should be enough evidence that my skills [in SC2] are not up to par.
Q There must be alot of stress associated with practicing SC2
A I believe that time will solve the struggles I am having in-game. I try not to get stressed out, because I know I am lacking in skill. I will get better if I keep practicing at this pace. This season does require you to be good at both SC1 and SC2, nonetheless. I think that doubles the amount of stress.
Q You will be playing SC1 vs Airforce ACE
A Some may say [switching back and forth] is difficult but that's a commonality for all players, so I believe it is a level playing field. A professional must strive for the best results, no matter what the situation at hand may be.
Q Any last words?
A We got our first victory, but there is still a long road ahead. My teammates probably felt it was difficult to get that first win as well. I don't think we lack in terms of skill relative to other teams. I want to do well in the matches that are left. I feel the fans must be worried, because there is no guarantee that SC1 skills transfer over to SC2. In their perspective, where they are rooting for a specific player, that must cause alot of anxiety. I just want to say, have faith and wait for me. I have confidence to become among the best in SC2 as well.
