Boxer while in his prime he was set up with an exhibition matchup verse who were considered the best non korean player at the time (and also 2nd best player of the world) Grrrr... whom he defeated by a flawless 3-0 including a patent of the Barrack landing next to mineral in Hall of Vallhallla, and verse the one considered the best Europe player at the time (and KBK winner) Slayer, equally 3-0. To mention some of his trademarks plays: ghost locking down multiple battlecruisers, EMP and Nuking a Nexus, Barrack landing next to mineral @ HOV, and finally my personal favorite and probably the best one, the Barrack choke lift block. Grrrr... also won the two or three BNet Ladder seasons, when the BNet Ladder was a very respectable place to play.

Maynard was the first true random player able to truly dominate all matchups with deadly effectiveness. By the time he was in Korea he began playing zerg regulary and his ZvT and ZvP was regarded as deadly and mortal as any of the rest of the Korean gosu players. He hated ZvZ though and hence, he switched to Terran. He was one of the elite foreigners that played at KBK, losing to Grrr... a TvP match, where citing his own words "he curses to this day". Maynard, one the GG Lycos members, was perhaps the first player to express their anger because of the release of replays, citing "it wasn't fair that players were now allowed to get good just by copying their strats without even knowing the reasons why they played ingame", and vowed to never play Brood war again shortly after the 1.08 patch was released. However he showed up for USA WCG 2001 qualies, with a very very far away from his real skill display of game level (played terran all the way) and still managed to qualify for the WCG 2001 finals. After that, Maynard was never seen playing Brood war again. NTT aka hasudrone (Terran, Jacob Scharn) Ferocious terran player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest foreign bw players as well as perhaps the most hillarious and controversial. His sleeve had the following trademarks 1 Multiple CC running everywhere with continued and unbelievable non stop SCV production. When attacked, he would gather all the SCVs from his expansions and use them as defense troops while producing the real army that would serve as counter attack assault troop. At one time he was regarded as the greatest Macro Tank Terran player in the world, at the point that a show match between him vs NADA was being prepared but never happened. 2 Being regarded as perhaps the best player to watch in replays (when they became available), and holds at least 10 or more, amazing and extraordinary matches in replays every brood war player must have and keep in their gold library as they were the original Death Sea manuscripts, including a series of 3 amazing ass beating Garimto. His TvT and TvP were as close and good as Korean level. Special mention to his incredible skills with dropships and managing drops in general. 3 While not playing, NTT (aka hasudrone)'s personality and atipical behavior was hillarious to follow whether if it was in forums, articles, interviews, battle net chats and even in game chats, he insulted, hated, joked on anything handy he had. Although at some time he praised a wide hate to death for his GG Lycos clan teammate Maynard, the most probable thing is that they were actually good friends. 4 He would quit and NEVER play a game if he spawned at the 6 o'clock lost temple main base, as he had a theory citing it was the worst possible position to play for Terrans. 5 He would repeatedly use Marines & Medics vs Protoss players, with incredible and deadly accuracy, a strat virtually impossible to succeed vs Protoss. He was one of the foreigners that managed to qualify to the KBK event, which was eventually won by his teammate and friend Slayer (aka hasulurker). I have no idea to whom NTT lost with. NTT achieved 3rd place in the first WCG 2000, losing to Gorush (I think) in the semifinals. He retired shortly after replays were released citing the same reason Maynard would eventuallly confess as well, as he couldn't stand how 100% newbie and (place 20+ random cursing words here) players were now able to become good players just by "watching a replay and copying all the hard work players like him had invented". He made a brief comeback, weeks before WCG 2001 Netherland qualifiers where he eventually played, but it wasn't enough as he lost 4-1 to Liquid`Nazgul in the finals when the Protoss player was very close to his prime. After this NTT left the BW scene and was never seen again. Numerous replays were spreaded thenafter that time with smurf accounts regarding it was NTT, but none of them were confirmed and there's a high probablity they were all fake.

Regarded by many of his peers as the smartest and most intelligent brood war player ever. Personally, I believe when people who are smart and intelligent say that there is this guy, who is even smarter and more ingelligent than them, something has to be going on. One of GG Lycos members, Slayer was a pioneer of brood war, as there are replays of him with an amazing +220 APM even 250 APM, in the times were BW Chart, replays, Vods, BW Coach, whatever program today exists that helps new players realize "HOW" skilled players play, simply didn't exist. He knew you had to be fast and hell he was fast. Moreover, his hotkey usage was minimal, meaning he probably was the fastest mouse Brood war player by a long shot. When seen live playing, his teammates regarded him also as not just a hotkey and mouse clicking insane spammer; his speedness was 100% justified and every click had an intention and reason. It is well known that Slayer invented 80% or more of modern brood war strategies, along with his close friend and ABS clan founder, Sven aka Sven@abs (another player that deserves to be at least cited), also friend and "hasu" clan founder, hasudrone (aka NTT) and GG Lycos team mate Maynard. The fantastic four. Citing Maynard's words "Slayer's creativity, timing and intelligence made him take Brood war to another level". It is unknown how many hours Slayer dedicated to BW, but probably practicing with Sven, NTT and Maynard, he became as good enough to know every strenght and weakness in every single matchup and sieze it to the maximum. Although initially random, Slayer eventually began racepicking TvZ, ZvT and, TvP or ZvP (depending on the map) he sporadically played PvT as well. In an astounding display of skill level, Slayer qualified and won the KBK League, defeating Intotherain in the semifinals (ZvP) and I_love_star in the finals (TvZ) 2-1, an astounding fact as he was totally unknown and favorites were, korean gosu players like I_love_star, intotherain, The marine, and of course Grrrr... . I really don't know if he went random all the way or he was already race picking at that time. When the 1.08 patch was released, a "1.07 Farewell Event" was hosted that featured "The best player of all time" (Grrrr...) vs "The best korean player at that time" (an unknown, unheralded Slayers`Boxer, ironically he himself would eventually become the greatest player of all time). The winner of this match, Boxer, was set up to then play the best european player (Slayer). He lost 0-3, but although the result doesn't seem, the games were a lot more better, evened, interesting and closer than the previous Grrr... vs Boxer match. Slayer quit playing Brood war right after this match vs Boxer, and even though he never actually said it, it was rumoured that he shared Maynard's and NTT's ideas with the replay release issue. His close friend Sven@abs kept playing and won WCG Norway 2001, and if I correctly recall he was top 8 at WCG, losing to Boxer somewhere. Slayer made a quick return to the brood war scene in 2002 joining a new clan forming to rivalize the solid [pG], called Electronic Sports United aka eSu, which featured a very very skilled lineup: SaFT, sven, Blackman, Dreame, and Slayer himself, but he rapidly left, and eSu dissappeared shortly afterwards. Again, Slayer made another quick comeback (supposedly less than 1 month of practice) to compete in WCG 2004 Norway qualifiers, losing in the semifinals to Stinger. Since then he hasn't been seen again. Extremely introverted and quiet, there is very few information known about Slayer's personality, personal life and past and current status. As I recall he never gave interviews.
