I realize this isn't the most likely outcome, but I think it is a possible outcome. A lot of us, and most pro gamers, do think BW is a vastly superior game. It would just be a matter of proving it to the rest of the world, and SC2 would be the vessel for that. | ||

For expample HoN is better than LoL, but all the Kids play and watch LoL! You can't add to the BW Community anymore, no Casual would start playing a 15 year old game in 2D and 800x600. You can't just sell BW anyore. All the people who still watch BW are elitists and think exactly like you ("bw is so much better *crycrycry*). BW IS DEAD, pls accept it. Be happy that there is SC2 and we don't have LoL or Call of Duty as the #1 eSport Game. User was temp banned for this post. | ||

Starcraft 2 is not ad big in korea as BW but... is like 10000000000000000000 times more bigger in the international scene and trust me when i say that more people watch stacraft 2 than BW all around the wolrd counting korea | ||

Blizzard could easily revive BW internationally if they wanted to. They sold an (only) above average RTS in millions simply becuase it's Blizzard and that the game was called StarCraft (2). They could remake BW in high resolution 2D graphics (if people can enjoy Minecraft's graphics or get used to LoL's graphics, then I'm pretty sure they can appreciate good 2D graphics from Blizzard), with slightly updated interface (I think AoX's UI would've been a fair compromise) and BNet on par with WC3's or even better. They wouldn't even have to add much more content than that because the community would've taken care of that, with new maps, UMS maps, mods, and so on. | ||

Consider WC3 - it only took a seemingly insignificant map rigging incident (the game was indeed imbalanced and one of the staff members of MBCGame took the initiative to fix it, unfortunately not openly) to kill the scene in Korea. | ||
