Back in 2010 when CJ Entus' EffOrt retirement was announced, Flash was probably the most disappointed player. The reason is because Flash lost the chance to get revenge on EffOrt who beat him on a finals from a 0-2 deficit. Also the fact that he was on a 4 losing streak to EffOrt at the time of retirement probably made him disappointed as well.
And after EffOrt returned, Flash was waiting for the right moment. Being called the greatest player, he did not like the story of losing to this player. Flash won over EffOrt flawlessly after 617 days and proved to the world that there is no one who can stop him.
Q - The chance of you getting the most winstreak is slightly higher.
A - I feel like I got about 15% more hope after that game. We are also on a winning streak and the team is in 1st place, so I feel very good.
Q - It has been a while since you had a match against EffOrt.
A - Truthfully I just wanted to play against a zerg instead of EffOrt.
Q - Do you still remember when you lost 3-2 from a 2-0 lead in Starleague?
A - Isn't that something that happened a long time ago? It's been a while since I forgot about it. Because I won many times after that incident I felt I didn't have to worry much about it. I earned much more after that finals so I felt that it wasn't a devastating loss for me.
Q - But every time people talk about EffOrt, you must've had the thought of meeting him and winning?
A - I did have thoughts like that *laugh*. But I know that since EffOrt had a short break, I forgot all about the emotion and just thought about playing against a CJ Entus Ace. Instead of playing against EffOrt, I just wanted to play against a zerg very much.
Q - You've been showing lots of confidence in your TvZ matchup.
A - I wish to keep on playing TvZ in the future. At the moment my TvZ is in the greatest height. I feel like if I want to have a record of most winningstreak, I want to play against zergs. When I look back and think about the 1 loss I had, I feel that i will be very disappointed. At the state I am in, I will not lose easily to a zerg.
Q - It would be fun if you played against the rising zerg Neo.G_Soulkey.
A - I really want to play against Neo.G_Soulkey. I was actually preparing myself against Neo.G_Soulkey in our game vs woongjin, but I was disappointed as the game was over 3-0 *laugh*.
Q- Is there your own style of preparing against a defensive zerg?
A - When I play TvZ, I'M a player that goes to the offensive. The person that is attacking has a calm mind than the person defending. I feel that if I keep on attacking until my opponent is exhausted, I can eventually break in.
Q- In the previous games, Jaedong showed us a very comedic game.
A - I was watching the game screaming the entire time so I felt tired when I was playing my game. Truthfully it was very funny *laugh*. When I saw that scene I really wanted to know Jaedong's expression and he was very shocked *laugh*. I feel it's the most comedic game of the recent years. Everyone was having a fun time watching it.
Q - Is there any last words you want to say?
A - My grandmother gave me lots of allowance so I feel great. I really hope she lives a long Life. Every New Years and Thanksgiving when I meet her, I want her to remain healthy. When she turns 90 years old, I want to give her a big feast.

Mind - "I have lots to learn from Flash."

After transferring to KT, Mind has been very nervous. He had three chances but he lost all three of the matches. The games were also in his favor and he threw the games away so he was embarrassed to see his coaching staff.
But at an important time, the coaching staff trusted in Mind, and the coaching staff was rewarded for their trust. During the game vs CJ where it was a heated fight for the 1st place, Mind went on to play the 1st set against  Horang2 and win against him to dominate the other team's moral. After a sigh of relief, Mind said "the start is now" and showed his confidence.
Q - You finally got your first win. How does it feel?
A - After all since this was my first win in a long time, I feel great. But isn't 1 win at this stage very poor performance?
i feel great but i feel my performance has been poor so I still don't think it's the time to be happy. To get to 2 wins you need to get your first win first so I felt that I was just relieved a bit.
Q - It felt like your games haven't been going as you planned
A - All the three games I lost, I could've won, but I lost my advantage. At th beginning of the season I felt my skills was poor but as I practiced through the middle I found my confidence. But when I got my confidence, I didn't get sent out so I didn't have an easy time getting into my zone. I felt that I was able to show a good game today because I learned from the past mistakes of making decision mistakes and fixing that part today.
Q - How did you feel after you were transfered to KT?
A - The atmosphere is great *laugh*. There is a lot of freedom and there is fun in practicing. When I see everyone having fun I also get a happy feeling *laugh*. Specifically, Reach and HoeJJa are filling in the roles as the Atmosphere Maker.
Q - After the transfer you must've have lots of burdens.
A - I didn't have any burdens but after losing 3 games in a row, the burdens just came naturally. At first I didn't care about it much but it slowly burdened me a lot. The fact that I was personally doing poorly stressed me out.
Q - Your opponent used carriers. Did you expect it?
A - I didn't expect it at all truthfully*laugh*. I felt that since I started off killing the reaver, I was in a big advantage and I had confidence in dealing with the carriers so I felt that I wouldn't lose.
Q - Your old teammate Wooki must've made fun of you as he got a win first.
A - He makes fun of me a lot. But he's a close dongsang (younger brother) and I also made fun of him as well so it's something I have to deal with. I felt that if I lost oday's game as well, Wooki wouldn't make fun of me out of pity.
Q - How does it feel being in the same team as Flash?
A - It feels great *laugh*. I loved to watch someone's playstyle and learn from it since I was an amateur. The fact that I can look at Flash's playstyle and learn from it is a very joyful experience. When I practice alone things don't go as I planned but since there is someone that can help me and talk me through my play, it feels good. But I learned that you can't copy every playstyle *laugh*. But I definitely got something out of it.
Q - Do you have a goal for this season?
A - I feel disappointed I don't have much appearance *laugh*. Even if I win my remaining games, it would be hard to break the first goal I made. I want to win the rest of the games and get at least a 70% winrate.
Q - Do you have any last words?
A - I got my first win late and I feel sorry for the fans and the coaching staff who were cheering me on. It's still only my first win so I want to show more good performance and be a support to the team.

Flash is sounding more and more confident. Cocky almost. I remember in early 2010 just after his OSL win he'd always say there's a lot of stuff he has to improve on. Now he's more like: "Yeah, this guy beat me long ago, but he took time off and I'm the best, so no worries."
