With his win, there was only like six guys I could trade him with. In the end, I just picked on STX and am gonna hope Bogus has a slump on STX. | ||

I'm thinking that I wildly chose my picks without really thinking of how FPL works and picking blindly with my love for the Ultimate Weapon...sadly..my actual alternate picks was picking BaBy/By.Sun..picking myself so hard right now.. What do you guys think of these lateral moves. Perfective for Wooki? Logic: KT has 4 zergs...and it seems that after Stats/Flash...IF they want to set out a zerg...you have Action/Perfective/Crazy-hydra/hoejja to choose from which = Not a lot of action. Wooki...is the 2nd protoss although I have no idea how violet fits in atm...after stats and if KT wants to send out a 2nd protoss...it'll be him... KT Rolster Depth: T: Flash/Mind/Rax P: Stats/Wooki/Violet?? Z: 4 Zergs Argument again: It seems that KT is trying to showcase one zerg at a time and...Perfective is bound to play soon... Anti-team trade: ggaemo for Shuttle Argument: ggaemo...is getting unexpected action lately and for your anti-team what you want is a palyer who rarely gets sent out and when they do...gets pummeled..ggaemo has been solid in the games he's played and riding on that nice little hot streak near the end. Shuttle has not seen action this season...has STX lost faith in him and will he continue to see no games?? Argument against: Shuttle may be a Fantasy League monster waiting to happen. | ||

He's the third-highest Terran by ELO. He's the only good (only competent?) Terran Woongjin has. He's one of the top three players on Stars, unless free miraculously returns to 2007-08 form and Light would still be fourth... even if you think ZerO and Soulkey are both better than him. He's going to get games, and he's going to win. With Woongjin last season he was 13-5 in rounds 5 and 6. Even his TvP, far and away his worst matchup, looked decent: he was 6-1, with wins against Shuttle, Stork, and Stats. He loses one game to Jangbi – Jangbi who just beat Flash and TvP-specialist-fantasy in the OSL – Jangbi using a proxy-reaver cheese build – and now people are like "OMG trade Light he sucks!" What? Even if it made sense to trade Light, who are you going to trade him for? Baby? Light's a better player. Light lost to Jangbi; Baby beat Wooki (new) and soO (in soO's worst matchup). Sea? Sea's 1-1 against Sun and Stats. Horang2, Leta, or Movie? Sure, they're all good, and yes you'll rack up team points, but at this point we know that CJ's lineup can vary wildly, so you're gambling that whoever you trade for will get the same playing time that Woongjin has to give Light because they have no other decent Terrans. The only other plausible trades are still players worse than Light: free or Calm. And note that all of these except free or Calm have played an extra match, as well. So if this FPL runs through the first half of the season, Light's got 20 matches left, everybody else has 19 (especially a consideration for the CJ players). On a similar note, Woongjin's next match is against STX: STX is Zerg-heavy and Zerg-happy. Light is a favorite against every single player on STX except maybe Shuttle, depending how bad you think Light's TvP is – I'm willing to give at least even odds to Light in his current form. | ||

I would trade ggaemo for Shuttle. I think STX will be at the bottom this year, and ACE can do decently against non top teams (T1, CJ, T8) So a lot of the games will have a lot of players sent out and ggaemo is one of the better players on ACE. While shuttle is also one of the better players on STX. They play WJN next which if they send Zero, light, SK, it would be hard for STX to fight against. With KT at 0-2, if they lose anymore games they might get desperate and only send top players. Which means perfective may not get games for a while. KT plays SKT next and that will be a tough match. After that would be KT vs CJ and well CJ is tearing through everyone. Then they play WJN. KT's next 2 games will be tough, worse case scenario they lose all 3. Which then they would be 0-5. But I think they can beat WJN so it would be 1-4. | ||

Bear in mind Light went 18-6 last 2 rounds of FPL. But more importantly, he has only played 1 game this week. Whereas the other players you're looking to trade him for have played 2. So don't be too hasty. Light will get loads of game time, Stars has good players but not too many of them. And he is the best terran, ergo he'll be played practically every game. And he's a beast. I think you could do a lot worse than keeping him. I don't know why you feel STX isnt going to field Shuttle. He's their best protoss and STX only played 1 game this week - and they got 3-0'ed. He was probably slotted in for game 4 and 5. Assuming STX can make it past getting 3-0'ed Shuttle should see plenty of game time. Also he went 10-6 last 2 rounds compared to ggaemos 9-11. He's hands down a better player. ACE is fairly deep, ggaemo probably won't play every game and he'll lose more than half of them. Especially with this smaller format, teams are sending out better players than last rounds. | ||

Tuesday: Ace vs Team 8 Wednesday: STX vs Woongjin Thursday: CJ vs Khan Friday: KT vs SKT No games this Sat or Sun.... But then the following week we get a full slate of 6 games again. In fact, looking forward, the whole schedule jumps around a ton. Is this to be expected the whole season? Or will there eventually be a set schedule(or is it a TL Calender problem)? | ||
