These all combined, may shake him up a bit, and seeing all the celebrity and hype in the sc2 tourneys it may strike a chord with him. Not necessarily a good thing, but given the uncertainty around him it may be plausible. Yeah that may be plausible, but then you consider his salary. Is he willing to take a 75% pay cut to play a different game? Going to college or the army (he said he eventually wanted to play for ACE) seems more likely If for some incredibly unlikely reason Jaedong can't find a BW team who will pay him, ACE is the obvious alternative. He'll get his military service out of the way, keep his skills up, and once he's out he can look at continuing BW or going to Sc2. Hell, if players like Boxer, Nada, and July can be as successful as they've been in Sc2, I'm sure Jaedong would be able to do it even with the skill loss that comes from being on ace and getting limited practice time. Also, Jaedong on Ace would be terrifying - he'd actually be on a team with some depth.
I agree. If anything, he will go to Ace before even considering switching to SC2. Military service is something that looms over every Korean male, and he might as well play while going through it.
He can also see what happens to the scene while he's in the military and decide if it's worth switching then.

Hmmm, wonder how much $$ Blizz would offer them to switch. It would be absolutely huge if they could get four high-profile pros like these guys to come across.
And I'm surprised the teams--or Kespa for that matter--would let these guys travel if Blizz was making such a concerted effort to have them switch game.

you know what, after seeing the picture of fantasy and looking at it for a minute, i'm pretty sure he's disappointed.
because it isn't possible to delay your gg timing past the 20 minute mark in SC2

With proper command center micro everything is possible!
it's not like command center is bio unit either

Ok I am a SC2 guy all the way .... I wish I played Brood War but I didn't
But if Blizz is trying to poach these guys to SC2 they are completely retarded
If they are so worried about E-sports they need to make a better game first .... they won't even give us LAN

Well, looking at the HotS Terran units, seems like Mech is going to be back in form soooo
But yeah, I'd rather have them play BW still.

But I don't see how that would make him more inclined to play SC2.

I'd be really curious to hear what Jaedong, Bisu, and Fantasy thought of the finals, not about the game itself but more about the crowd and what they thought about the PASSION.

I think you underestimate Jaedong's character. Him not winning a final recently, in his view, is a challenge that needs to be addressed. If anything, he may switch after he takes down an OSL.

Fantasy: 'what the F did they do to my vultures? These units are slow and can't do moving shot...'

Artosis def knew something significant about these four going to blizzcon (when asked on sotg). Would be shocked if they're not involved in anything.

That they were going to blizzcon and don't do anything there besides listening blizzards offers? Boxer also got something from blizzard before he joined SC2 IIRC.

Well whatever the reason is, I hope they enjoy their stay~
Wish I could go see them

They will still be attending day 2 for Blizzcon right?

I'd assume so. I doubt they will be there only for one day.
