cool that these guys are gonna attend blizzcon for whatever reason. i don't care if it is because they are going to play in WoW arena tournament. Having these guys over to blizzcon can never be a bad thing!

I think it's fairly obvious that Blizzard doesn't invite them to play Bw....

Does anybody know what is Kespa's stance on this? I mean they have been fairly possesive of their players in the past, when it comes to attending Blizzard/SC2 events.

Blizzcon is a PPV event... The Koreans BW fanbase is HUGE and will pay to watch these players do just about anything I presume. This is a tactic to get the BW fanbase's money and maybe even korean's attention on SC2

Blizzcon is only PPV if you want HD stream/extra developer panels. Also Gom is most likely going to do the Korean broadcast so it's going to be free for Koreans anyways.

Even besides that I mean Korean BW has always been fairly ignorant of the foreign scene. I doubt they care for a few showmatches in an american event with players they see every other week anyways.

I would like them to play SC2 only if they just sit on the game for the first time without doing anything before. It'd be pretty funny to watch them discover a new game. It'd basically be like the All Star games where they off raced, all of them were having fun, chatting, laughing, smiling etc., I think that'd be cool.

Otherwise, pretty cool news and fingers crossed for a BW tournament

Their presence is good for e-sports in general in the West. People tend to assume the majority of people who watch SC2 only do so because of graphics are better etc. I think that is wrong, people like the thrill of the competition. I'm confident BW will gain western spectator interest with a move like this. I wouldn't care if Jaedong, Jangbi, Fantasy and Bisu played Angry Birds tournament in main stage, I would still watch it. They are awesome nevertheless.

This. Why would you watch foreign BW when the best BW is right on your TV?

Or...on your computer....

It'll be interesting if they play SC2....I don't really mind at this point, but it'll be interesting to see how quickly they'll grasp the game. Shouldn't take very long.

QxG and EG have some EXTREMELY big announcement to make around blizzcon... could this potentially relate? Possibly JD joining EG/QxG?

I'd love to see these guys playing both BW and SC2, to be honest. I'd be doubly excited if it was the first time they'd actually played sc2.

Just imagine seeing 4 of the best strategy game players in the world discovering how to play a new game. It'd be a treasure trove of learning to see what they focus on learning and how they improve.

Would be sick :D

After the huge numbers the proleague & OSL finals attracted (esp from China), I doubt they're inviting these players to try out SC2. They know BW can still be very profitable in the east. I'm confident we'll see some BW showmatches.

As far as I know most major BW pros have allready played SC2 at one point (alpha/beta, they got earlier acess) and it is known that a few play SC2 casually.
