I'm guessing they want them to see the SC2 tournament, the huge crowds, the prize/trophy tournament, etc. They might play some showmatches too, but this strikes me as Blizzard giving them a glimpse of their future. How close or far away it will be is up to them.

Come on, even if they would play showmatches in SC2 (which I somewhat doubt), it wouldn't mean that they switch to SC2. I think some people need to lighten up and just see it as what it is: amazing players heading to Blizzcon.
Well, and maybe there will still be a BW showmatch a la IPL3 :3 No Lan for SC2 anybody?
