MBCGame to shut down? - Page 67
Forum Index > BW General |
Keep any SC2 vs BW comments out of this thread. This is a thread about Brood War and Esports (Tekken Crash, Special Forces, etc) in general. If you discuss what this means for ESPORTS be sensitive about it.

I don't think there is a question about exports growing, and closing of this channel won't end everything and make esports freeze in time. I wonder how much longer the BW's dying is going to sadden us... How the heck are you even arguing this? Dude, instead of being part of the problem be part of the solution. Like I said, this goes way beyond BW and don't be so naive. The best way is to make yourself heard. If you are a fan of gaming in general help the cause! The idea of another channel arising is folly. MBC arguably has some of the best programming and ridiculously good casters. Don't put these people out of work hoping they will return. Let them know you love gaming and want your fix of it.

So if I'm guessing right after it's disappearance we might see BW legends switching sooner than we thought. On the side note: I don't really care about some channels disappearing. Why so? TV is becoming obsolete (that is if I'm right about it being straight TV channels - I was no BW player). Internet is the future. Who uses TV nowadays? I don't or I'd rather say I do it very rarely, mostly when I eat.

How the heck do you think we watch MBCGame programming across the world? Through re-streams of course. I think you guys need to read more than just the title. :/ How else do I put this. Save content! Save future SC2 grandeur events! Save a channel that has a really good reputation for putting out really good content on competitive gaming.

mods should either make the note at the top more clear about what is not allowed or not or actually read my post before assuming what I mean. This was NOT a sc2>bw post. User was warned for this post

This isn't what you call progression. I give up. -_-

You're slowly changing my mind, I think letting those people who worked on the channel go could hurt us in the long run, I'd be supportive of this BW channel if they somehow hung in there and save their crew.

Read the note on top. And next time, read the thread before posting trash. It's not good for Sc2, and not for "ESPORTS". MBCGame was more than a broodwar tv station, and if it were to close down, so much would get lost.

I'm not sure why people feel that BW can no longer exist with sc2 out. I don't really see a reason why it has to be one or the other, both games have followings, both games have good money for the players, I just don't see why they couldn't continue to co-exist.

THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR STARCRAFT 2....Saying that won't do anything.. judging by how many people who joined SC2 a month ago keep coming and posting... Everyone should tweet to MBC on twitter if you have not already done so... It's not too late to be relevant. I doubt they care much what people who have followed them on pirated restreams have to say.

![]() I absolutely refuse to read this thread. I know that it'll be full of "LOL GOOD FOR SC2, LETS SEE SUM OGSFLASH LOL" and it will make me want to jump in front of a train. Long live BW.
