SKT vs FOX Winners Winner
Bisu
Thoughts on getting an all-kill twice in a row? ▲I didn't even think I could do get two AK. Today, I came in thinking if I got one or two wins, that would be pretty good. But as I played, I discovered my fortune today was incredible. Now, the SWL's special format fills me with even greater confidence.
You're the first player to get back-to-back AKs four times. ▲Last year, I didn't perform well in Winner's League, which made me very regretful. This season, though, I have more chances, so I hope to get even more all-kills.
It seems you're really strong against FOX's players, as you've AKed them twice. ▲I was really fortunate, nothing more (haha). I'm not really clear on why this happened either. I just played and won.
At what point were you confident of the AK? ▲Once I decimated Baby's entire force at the 9 o'clock, I felt sure I would all-kill. I began with an enormous advantage in that game, but in the midgame Baby pushed me back, which made me panic slightly. It was fortunate and crucial that I was able to take down that army at 9.
Which game do you think you played the best in? ▲None in particular. They were all about the same, but if I had to choose I'd say set 2 against Roro; I played with more or less no weaknesses in that game. After I killed off a drone with my scouting probe, I cruised through that game.
What was your biggest moment of crisis? ▲During my game with Shine, I lost a lot of corsairs, so at that point I felt I was at a huge disadvantage. But lady luck smiled upon me and let me succeed in a zealot runby, so I was able to nullify my disadvantage.
Compared to SPL, your individual league performance has been disastrous. ▲It's really pitiful. I prepared the same amount for both, but the individual league games were just rough. My opponents were certainly strong, but a lot of the time they were just able to completely counter my strategies. Overall, I think my luck wasn't that great.
You've surpassed Flash for most PL wins. ▲If I perform well in SWL, it's not too difficult to get the most wins. I'm not just going to abandon this chance (haha).
When do you personally prefer being sent out? ▲It's the coach's choice, so I don't have much say. I practice thoroughly for all the maps, so I can have confidence no matter when I'm sent up.
Are you confident in getting an AK against MBC next time? ▲Very much so. Although getting an all-kill is very nice, I feel a little apologetic for not letting my teammates show their stuff (haha). Rather than getting another AK, I want to see our team win together so we can all bask in the victory.
Anything else? ▲I lost very sadly in the individual leagues, which made me feel very sorry. I'll prepare more meticulously for the rest of SPL, so I can do even better [T/N is that even possible?] And after just one more round of the OSL, new OSL prelims will start. When the time comes, I'll play better there. Lastly, I'd like to thank my teammates and coaches who helped me: without them, I wouldn't have been able to make this all-kill. Thanks, everyone!

Bisu's PvZ:
1. Kill drone with scouting probe 2. ... 4. Win (lol there isn't even 3)
|
dang back to back all kill. Good job Bisu
|
Stop giving credit to lady luck, it's all you and your fantastic skill.
Thanks for translating!

"It's not too difficult to ge the most wins" yeah right

What does the four times mean? I checked his stats for 2009 and 2010 SWL and it does not compute.

FUUUUUUUCK ya
kim tae young tearing shit up
let's see a few more AK's in a row, shall we!?

he meant if he performed well in WL, then getting the most wins wouldn't be difficult, which is a pretty reasonably statement ...

AK twice in a row, that's sick!
|
wow bisu please impress more in WL. :D

Hoping for another AK in the next match I'm glad that the old Bisu is finally back.
|
taekbang proving this season that they are back
stork tearing apart individual leagues, bisu proleague.
|
Thanks for the quick translation. I'm glad Bisu isn't pulling a Flash and acting like no one can touch him.
|
congrats bisu! <3
yey! more OSL!!
|
I'm so glad Bisu was able to bounce back after losing to Stork. Good job. ^^
It's just so hard not to like Kim Taek Yong especially for his harassment style of play, I dont know what the haters are thinking.
|
Thanks for the interview but MBC are gonna prepare their top 4 players for Bisu snipe - that's guaranteed now after two AK's. So SKT needs other players to step up too I feel really bad for Kwanro cuz it looked like he found his team and after 1st month dropped out of the line again

I saw Kwanro on the bench today, so it seems like he's back (sorta lol)

Charisma that Flash would give a foot and a leg for.
Fuck yeah, Bisu.
|
Bisu is too damn good. He didn't all-kill eSTRO or Sparkyz where it would be a little bit expected that someone would win big.
He beat STX with Kal/ Bogus/ Calm/ Modesty
And Wemade, with Shine/ RorO/ Pure/ BaBy.
Very impressive wins.
|
Bisu with most PL wins over Flash! Impressive.
|
When he sat on the booth he looked like a diferent bisu altogether.

Estro and Sparkyz don't exist anymore. Estro was disbanded and its players moved to other teams. Hite Sparkyz merged with CJ Entus and are now one of the most dangerous teams with Hydra, Snow and Leta as well as SkyHigh and Horang2 for snipers and former OSL finalist Movie.

Hell yea Beesuit! makes me so happy!
"You're the first player to get back-to-back AKs four times."
This just means he has AK-ed two teams back to back at 4 separate times in his career.
|
this really rox, i think he peforms this year pretty good, unlucky in msl and osl but still i dont think he is much worse than flash and he seems to bet better than jaedong. i think at the end of 2011 we could see bisu and stork at the top of kespa ranking, or at least i hope so
Bisu fighting!!!

what is difficult is to AK every time when players like flash jaedong and stork are also playing WL.

I think there might have been something lost in translation, but he's the first player to get 4 AKs in his career. Getting 2 AKs in a row is something separate from the 4 AKs comment. (from esports daily interview)

Wow. Just dominant. A little too much "luck and fortune" in the interview as usual, though. When is Bisu going to come out and just say it straight up that he's a cut above the scrubs he just crushed?
|
bisu's elo went back to the 2300s

I would tend to think he knows what happened to those two teams. He was just saying that Estro and Sparkyz were lower tier teams, and had Bisu back to back all killed those two teams, it wouldn't have been as big a deal as Bisu AKing Wemade and STX, who have relatively good players and are good teams.

Skill is when luck becomes regular. Bisu <3

Man, Bisu is taking so much pressure off of Fantasy and making his life easy. Fantasy better show us great games in the OSL finals.
|
Love his attitude as usual, and his two AK's are nothing to scoff at. Really impressive stuff here, BiSu taking out all his anger on the Winners League

Bisu does have four all-kills: he's got two in the same season twice now, which may be the "back to back" comment but only these last two are actually "back to back". (He's also got a show-match all-kill, but I don't really think that counts!)
15/01/2011 - '11 WL (WeMade) 11/01/2011 - '11 WL (STX) *30/03/2009 - '09 Race All Stars (Terran) 07/03/2009 - '09 WL (WeMade) 22/02/2009 - '09 WL (hite)

Thank you for the translaaationnn; Bisu really needs to stop being so modest and polite in his interviews and go, "Hellz yeah I totally crushed my opponents! They were no match for me!", but alas, that day will probably never see light. Can't wait to see Bisu tear it up in PL more!
|
Man, bisu is really good....o___o Stork needs to all-kill more or at least get dual-league golds ;D
His PvT is now 60% too lol

I'm surprised they didn't mention his ELO being raised to 2305. It's been almost a year since he was a member of 2300 club.

I hope you realized that the ELO thing is only for teamliquid. Korean goes by KeSPa rank.

Huh, I was under the impression they used both.

IIRC, Kespa has some sort of ELO system but it's probably different from this. They almost never mention Kespa ranking either.

Honestly i don't think this All-Kill was that impressive. So he beat 2 zerg's who did the 4base turtle build which is losing in every single game i see it in now (please stop doing it), he beat Pure who made the worse positioning possible in his attack and threw away his lead and then BaBy was the impressive game but still... cross positions on that map PvT lategame i can't see anyone except flash beating the top Protoss. Massive middle for flanks, bases miles away to take everywhere. He still played well and the stasis/storm combo was what he should have done in loads of other games but still it was a fairly easy game for him imo. He's not been tested in any of these.

I always thought that "his opponents sucked" is a discredit to a player who does something impressive(hence I try to stay away from saying that even when it's a player I don't like). Yes he outclassed his opponents so it wasn't really close except in vs Baby, but isn't outclassing some of the top players and playing so well that he manages to come back from a disadvantage impressive in it of itself? I think it is. It's not like an all-kill against ANY team(even eSTRO/Ace of late) doesn't take a lot of work anyways. Any progamer can outplay any other progamer if the conditions are right. Case in point: Flash vs Ssak/Classic. Also, 4 base turtling is probably an underdeveloped response to Bisu's zealot map control and would work if said players were playing a lesser opponent.

Bisu owning shit in WL hell yeah! back to back AKs and most wins!
I hope he will start performing like this in individual leagues.
also it seems like our beloved pikachu is back in action!

I'm not really trying to discredit him here, he played solid no doubt and won in each matchup, but you have to admit the situations were favourable for him, the situations caused by his opponents actions and not his own in a few cases. The 4base turtle Zerg is getting raped all over the place this season to the point where it's not even viable, and he beat them with no trouble even with a 3rd base up. that suggests to me infact the Zerg strategy was just poor. Of course Bisu perfectly countered but he didn't do anything spectacular. Then we have the PvP in which Pure gave away reavers constantly and tried to fight over a bridge and up a cliff. Baby was a good game, like the stasis and storms and the dt's even were pretty cool and must have been extremely annoying. But was he really tested?
Hopefully it's a sign his PvT is improving but he basically could not lose that game because of the push distance and the easy denial and harass of the 4th. BaBy's strategy again, wasn't good enough rather than Bisu's multitask being pushed to the limit or something. I want to see him under pressure in a game, in an unfavorable position and bring out his classic multitasking skills or goon vs mine micro rather than just running over some medicore players who all had poor plans in my opinion. BaBy vs Bisu close positions i think would have been a very interesting match...
