This is pretty sad. Hoping it's not for sc2. I had hoped that sc2 and bw could coexist despite the mutual hate from both communities. Apparently it can't happen, and BW is suffering extremely heavily from the release of sc2. Every day I'm hoping to see the next OSL (+sponsor) announced in the BW section (even though it's currently quite early).

MBC is a cool team in many ways and I feel coach Ha + Lee really brought something to the team. The light/sea combo is extremely strong, and if it weren't for Flash both would be contenders for the top terran spot.

Thank god MBC was able to at least win a Proleague. Fucking first we lost Bisu and then July. And now both the head and assistant coach. Shit might as well merge with SKT and be done with it.

BW falling apart everywhere you look. I hate to say it, but I'm kinda hoping everyone just jumps ship for SC2 now... Having both run side-by-side just doesn't seem like it's very appealing.

If you are worried about the Korean BW scene falling apart, this isn't such a big deal. eSTRO being sold or disbanded, on the other hand, is: if sponsors aren't interested in the game anymore and are letting players and coaches go en masse, then that's a pretty rapid disintegration. In this case, MBC will still have a coach, still has all of its relevant players (sorry Iron, but you know it's true), still has a sponsor, and is very much still in the game.

Now, if you're worried about MBC's performance in the upcoming season because their new coach will be (Z)

MuMyung... then that's a more reasonable worry :p

I'm not saying BW is not dying... it's hard to know either way, right now. But an odd coach resigning here and there will definitely not kill the BW scene if there are new coaches ready to replace them, and both the players and the sponsors are still committed.

If you hadn't noticed, BW was slowly dying before SC2 came along anyways. I really don't understand how you can put SC2 to blame when not a single player that gets game time has made the change.
