The difference of money to be earned in tournaments and the fact that all the big SC1 leagues now are considered illegal and will end up in court to be shutdown by the creators of SC1 and Gretech who has the broadcasting rights to SC1. Guess Kespa wants to make as much money as possible before it all goes to hell. No one knows if SC1 is gonna go to hell or if SC1 scene will die. NO ONE. And some SC1 players still make a large 6 figure salaries and even get endorsement deals. Also, when they retire, they can either work for the company they played with, become a commentator, or become a coach. Can SC2 do that? I didn't think so

Well, if he's going to a SC2 team, I guess I'll have to support it ![]()

ultimately Korean BW scene will just be flash vs jaedong every game lol. JvF finals forever... I joke, but I am extremely sad to see this happening... I hope BW can hang on even if its just by a thread, so it can grow back up again (I hope...)

If BW dies, e-sport is dead ![]() That will change once good players get into SC2. Fingers crossed for Boxer's re-ascension... I am still very very doubtful about MBC's decision to employ Mumyung. Which part of that guy's resume make him look like a good head coach? It's like some sort of one side trade going on here. All the good stuff eventually move from MBC to SKT, while the undesirable elements move from SKT to MBC. TheZerg was promising when he moved from MBC to SKT, and then he died there. Don't try to tell me that the coach staff has nothing to do with it. In fact, Hyuk would be bonjwa by now if it wasn't for bad coaching.

SC2 CAME OUT 2 MONTHS AGO. Jeez, they're just starting tournaments and getting into league play eventually. SCBW didn't just explode on the scene either if you recall. It took time. So, I'm sorry you're not open minded to both games as some of us are. Why must the success of one game ultimately crush the other? BW and SC2 are both great in their own ways.
