There is a big hall at the first floor, you can put a few thousand people in there. But if they could do it in Lujiazui park, or any open space that would be great.

This doesn't make much sense.

Why not just organize something in China where they will show the finals live on a giant projector with good chinese commentators. Flying the finalists all the way to China, away from the country with their biggest and most loyal fanbase doesn't make any sense. This will just piss off those Korean fans and there's a good chance they will get a smaller audience than the last final.

Chinese fans are no joke. Besides WCG, other tournaments held in China, have had great turn outs in audience attendees. China's eSports scene is growing and their StarCraft is WarCraft 3. They even have televised WC3 matches sometimes from Neo TV. It may piss off Korean fans back home, but I don't think the audience will be small at all in China.
