Lomo - "I'm glad that our losing streak is over"

Q: You guys were in a three game losing streak
- The atmosphere wasn't too good because of our three game losing streak. Yesterday the coach said "Let's end the losing streak", so I'm glad that it all worked out. I'll do my best to continue our winning streak.

Q: What was the story behind today's strategy?
- I changed my strategy based on what my opponent was doing, and after seeing Light using a fast expand build, I decided to use this strategy.

Q: How did you practice?
- After trying out a few builds, I thought of this build yesterday. There is a practice partner named Hwang Gang Ho on our team, and he helped me practice a lot.

Q: Your records weren't that good recently
- I don't think I was comfortable during that time. I lost a lot of confidence because I lost my games helplessly.

Q: You've been playing a lot recently
- The Coach is continuing to give me chances. I want to pay him back for his faith with good matches, but I'm regretful that my recent gaming prowess weren't too good and inconsistent.

Q: Did you expect to play against Light?
- I expected to play against Terran or Zerg. So I practiced my Terran and Zerg matchups.

Q: Do you have any resolve for Round 5?
- There was a slump during the Round 4. But because we won the last game, I think we can start Round 5 feeling well. We'll definitely reach the top and enter the post season.

Q: Anything else you want to say?
- Ggaemo hyung will be entering the military soon. I would like it if he kept his confidence at the Air Force.

Jaedong: "I can't be satisfied because we're still on the bottom"

Q: You were able to decorate the last game of Round 4 with a win
- I feel good because we won our last game. Round 5 is now starting, and so we will show a different side and rise to the top. Since we're still on the bottom, I'll definitely aim for a reversal.

Q: You got to watch the Starleague Finals live
- Even if I don't practice especially, it doesn't matter since I still practice a lot and I'm well adjusted to the maps. I've also been quite lucky, mostly running into Zerg, so I've been having an easy time. Today I came out to catch a Protoss or a Terran, but I got to play against a Zerg so I won easily.

Q: How did you feel about watching the Starleague Finals?
- I was a bit jealous that they held the finals in that kind of place. While I'm currently in the MSL Finals, I think it's a glorious thing for a gamer to do well on both leagues. Next season I want to distinguish myself in the starleagues. I thought the games were entertaining. The players were well matched, going to the 5th set, so I knew that they were both good players.

Q: Weren't in you in trouble when Peace attacked with Mutalisk and Zergling?
- I thought I already won at that time because my Hatchery was already complete. To be honest I was in danger before my Spire was complete, but because he didn't attack, I was able to pull through. If he played more offensively, I'd have been in trouble.

Q: The MSL Finals are coming soon
- Because I have experience in Finals, I think if I prepare with my personal know how, I shouldn't have a problem.

Q: Were you disappointed at your last team loss?
- From my team's perspective, it was a painful loss. I was sad but there's nothing I could do about it. Thankfully we were able to win today. If we lost today, it would have been very depressing. We will put our past games behind us so we can put in a good record for our remaining game.

Q: Your record this May has been 13-1
- I'm not sure either (laugh). It is true that earlier this year, before this, my record wasn't very good. Because I tasted defeat, I think my old senses came back. There wasn't any special happening but a coincidence. I think my losses were a medicine that helped me mature one more level.

Q: Is there anything else you want to say?
- It's been quite cold recently. Please be mindful of the cold. And Ggaemo hyung is entering the military in the 31st, and I hope he'll help me practice for the MSL until then (laugh). Ggaemo hyung going to the military hasn't fully sunk in yet and I hope he'll stay healthy in the military.

Q: How do you feel about finishing your team's victory?
- We were in an official six game losing streak, and we were in the middle of a 4 game losing streak in the proleague, and I was like this last year and had a hard time since I was in a slump since last season's 4th round. Last year, we were in a losing streak, one once, and then was in another losing streak. So this time we won't let our guard down and continue our winning streak.

Q: Recently you've been in a slump, and your team has been on a losing streak.
- During the proleagues, the entire team needs to play well, and I think we were on a losing streak because I was not able to play my part. But because I think it is not too late, we will continue our winning streak using today's victory as a stepping stone.

Q: Losing the MSL seems to have been disappointing
- I made a lot of mistakes in the 4th game, so I regretfully lost. But because my fans enjoyed watching the games, I started wanting to play more strategically. As long as my fans support me, I will be able to play tastefully often.

Q: Do you think you can enter the post season?
- Because our elimination isn't certain yet, I think there is a definite possibility.

Q: How are you going to spend your time before Round 5 begins?
- I need to help Jaedong with MSL. I want to die because it's so tiring (laugh). I put this much into helping him out and I never get anything in return. He's a scrooge (laugh).

Q: You guys wore the Red Cheering T Shirts today instead of your uniforms
- We'll be wearing this throughout the World Cup season. When I normally play, I have to roll up my sleeves, so I was able to play really well because I got to wear a T Shirt. It's comfortable and I like it.

Q: Any last words?
- Our team's captain ggaemo hyung is going to the military. I hope he'll be able to serve our country well and do well at the Airforce. If he ever gets to play, I hope to face him. So I can increase my win count (laugh).
