well i dont think they lack of sponsors, after all it's MSL even though with the power outage disaster I'm quite sure many companies would still want to sponsor the tournament ... i think they're just trying to work out the best deal possible (like in an auction)

If Korea Electric Power sponsors this MSL I'll laugh my ass off

I was happy when OSL was sponsored by korean air but now is it just me or is SC1 as a e-sport death becoming more apparent.because of mbc's retarded mistakes. Now the 2nd biggest league dosent even have a sponsor, Not even shinhan bank which sponsors everything...

Seems like those lurker eggs could really encourage some neat play mechanics. Proxy hatch in your opponents backdoor egg-expo for three hatch muta anyone?

I'd be interested to see the timing window for mutas produced that close to the main.

Of course, that could be utterly ridiculous just as easily.

Man. Why can't they introduce just ONE map that encourages more one-base play?

Also: remember that MSL had a bit of difficulty last season getting a sponsor as well - they even had to push back group selection. See: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=105129

But I suspect that this time around it'll be even worse.
