How so? A couple years ago he had high-quality VODs out within minutes of each game (as in game 4 was often posted before game 5 was over), for every single game. He doesn't deinterlace before converting to xvid. His vods are also in the wrong resolution. So picky. :p Well let me know when you find someone who'll do higher quality TV-rips of every game year after year. I meant wrong aspect ratio.

Ok, so after my initial rage, I think this could probably be an opportunity for the community to get more sources for VODs out there. If there is a big effort to locate and upload by multiple people, we will be better than fine. It will mean that perhaps a single youtube channel won't be the sole source for speedily available StarCraft. All you fuckers out there who are craving efame and creating your stupid D+ SC blogs to try to garner it, this is your calling.

I would help but sites like Clubbox that have a huge database just takes too long to download from. Sites like LimeUSA (I just checked like 5 minutes ago) have a decent download rate and program BUT their latest WL VODs are from Feb 3, 2010. I can keep looking around for stuff but can't guarantee anything.

but oskylove is gone now Nobody will ever want to take his place, he set the bar too high

someone please step up and offer a practical solution or at least show us non - chinese how to navigate and view the VODs on wfbrood.com. thanks

I just realized how big of a problem this is. The newest vods on clubbox, limeusa, and yaoyuan is 100203. I saw 100205 vods on a clubbox account, but they all got deleted by copyright claim.

The titles usually have OSL, MSL, or the teams name's such as STX, eSTRO, or such in english so it's not hard at all to navigate. Caveat: there are spoilers once you click the links.

okay nevermind... I found it!
Everyone who wants to watch the newest VODs, thank god there is wfbrood.com
to watch:
1. go to wfbrood.com or www.wfbrood.com 2. dont panic because everything is in chinese! 3. scroll all the way down to bottom right and you will see the latest VODs as of now, the awesome jaedong vs really, flash attempt to all-kill, etc.
whew, i need my korean starcraft fix man!!! (no offense, you can hype the ret, nony, idra all you want, but the TSL is not the big leagues. Its like watching the JV basketball games while there are NBA games out there. honestly, ret, european champion, can't even win a monthly Courage tournment that only Korean amateurs play in! Ret seems like a cool guy but think about that, he practices hardcore z v z for a month for courage and STILL can't beat a korean amatuer. Korean starcraft is the best competition.)

There are like at least 10 sites that have servers located all over the states that have similar features to Clubbox, I'll search through and see where the latest ones are.

The questions is: Where do ppl from LimeUSA etc etc all get their VODs? If they get them from the same sources as everyone else from every other file-sharing db's get it, ala oskyloveo, we come back to the same problem.

But yes, his contribution towards our SC community is quite significant. Unless someone else picks up the slack, him ceasing to upload would leave our community destitute.
Yeah, I agree. We'll have to overlook Baezzi's character (or maybe lack of character) and consider the positives he brings to the community. I definitely agree with Plexa bringing up that thread as it gives us a greater understanding of who we're dealing with, but at the same time, we can't deny the benefits that Jon747 account has brought to the Starcraft community and the benefits it has even brought to TeamLiquid.

This is key guys... the problem's not with the account Baezzi's using per se but *his* source...

For OGN people could be downloading them directly from the Daum Player somehow and then uploading it. But I know that downloading directly from Daum can be unbelievably slow

The real tragedy is that oskyloveo has apparently stopped uploading. Baezzi isn't the problem. He's replaceable. He was a nice convenience, but eventually we'll find a way around him, and we won't have to rely on a person as fucked up as he is anymore. Good riddance.

This has nothing to do with baezzi. Losing oskyloveo is a monster loss

Oh, god this is going to be fucking terrible for 18:00KST games... Hopefully we reach some kind of acceptable resolution.
edit: Oh god, I've been following jon747 for so long I totally forgot about TL youtube. -_-

BaeZZi has put in so many hours into uploading and drawn so many new fans to SC, so i'm kinda bothered by how dismissive some people in this thread are being. Yes he has bad english and there was a dramatic thread on TL that got him pissed, but that's no reason to deny him credit for all the work he's done.
TL did not give him the account. VioleTAK did, and he was very generous to do so, the same way nevake gave zatic/TL his account.
