Jon747's is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than nevake's account. Usually on nevake, the vid is uploaded days or a week later, when you don't even want to see it anymore. Jon747 uploads it relatively quickly, when the hype is still there. This is a huge loss.

Youtube policy:
To become a YouTube Partner, you must meet these minimum requirements:

* You create original videos suitable for online streaming.
* You own or have express permission to use and monetize all audio and video content that you upload—no exceptions.
* You regularly upload videos that are viewed by thousands of YouTube users, or you publish popular or commercially successful videos in other ways (such as DVDs sold online).

Considering BaeZZi doesn't meet either of the first two requirements I really doubt it.

Put aside all the history or whatever political views he may have, its a real shame that this is happening. Discovering his channel is what really got me into pro league to begin with.

To those complaining about youku, you just need to refresh a couple of times so that you are connected to a faster/closer server.

In a nutshell, I agree with ArsenalGunners. Like ArsenalGunners, I'm here because I discovered the VODs on YouTube, and Jon747's channel. However, reading that thread and Baezzi's views, I disagree with Baezzi and it is unfortunate he has such viewpoints.

Unfortunately, the loss of Jon747's uploads also stings the community as well.

What I say is that if we give any support to Jon747/Baezzi, we do it with the disclaimer that we disagree with his viewpoints posted at TL. Specifically, if any donations are made to Jon747/Baezzi, please follow up with a comment on his youtube channel that you recognize his efforts for the Starcraft community and would like to support his work, but that you disagree with his comments made on TL.

With respect to the Jon747 channel in itself, I have not seen any racist videos and I don't believe Baezzi is using that channel to promote his "misguided" views.

Streaming speed aside, my point with ArsenalGunner is that some of us are here playing Starcraft again, and part of the TeamLiquid community, partly because of Jon747's channel. This is a bigger loss for the community as a whole and is probably a bigger loss for TeamLiquid in the longer run (despite Baezzi's misguided viewpoints).

Wfbood and Youku are simply not as accessible for many non-Chinese viewers, as compared to YouTube.
