This event is finished! Thanks to everyone who came out and kudos to everyone who stayed for dinner 
Where: YK Internet Café 5582 Yonge St. It is located just south of Yonge & Finch. Look for the Xerox building (it’s right on Yonge & Finch) which is just north of YK, and Shopper’s Drug Mart which is right next to YK. It is 1 min away from the Finch GO Station if you’re planning on taking public transit.
When: Sunday, December 20th 12:00 PM (noon) – approx. 8:00 PM
What: Same thing as last time. Bring your own mouse/keyboard if you wish. Bring headphones since they only have speakers. We’ll be meeting at noon to eat lunch somewhere (tbd) and go for 5 hours starting from 1, eat dinner, and go for a few more hours if there's enough interest
Cost: Lunch should be ~$10,l dinner, $10-20 depending on where we go. I should be able to get the member discount again at YK so it should be $10 for 5 hours iirc. You must return your card before leaving otherwise there will be a $3 charge for each missing card and other people (i.e. me) will have to pay 
We will be eating korean food for lunch and dinner is undecided.
I'm planning on having a proper tourney this time around. As usual I'll buy dinner for JFthe winner.
I can pick people up at the Meadowvale GO Station and Meadowvale Town Center in Mississauga like I did for the Waterloo LAN. If anyone else is driving and can give other TL members a ride, please post in the thread so we can set up pick-up points for guys who need a ride. If you need any clarification or want to discuss anything, pm me for my msn. I hope the turnout this time is as good as our last LAN.

fortunate for you, this is a lie. in our first LAN i went not knowing anyone, as did probably most of us. However we all got along via how much we have in common (starcraft) and everyone (i mean EVERYONE) had a great time.

TTC both ways is already more expensive than just paying for your gas, so I guess its a win/win. I don't think you can pay TTC in sexual favours... Just generally people pay gas money when its over a 20 minute drive. -_-"

I usually take the Greyhound from downtown London (on York St) when visiting TO. It's about $24 1-way if you get a student discount. 2hr or so ride if you take the Express bus. If it's not express, you'll have to visit Hamilton and Brampton on the way and it's no fun.
You'll get dropped off either near Union Station or Dundas Station, just ask people where the nearest subway station is, and they'll point you in the right direction.

You're trying to get to Finch Station, which is the upper right of the yellow line. Once you've arrived at Finch Station, you could probably arrange to meet someone there if you've never been around the Yonge&Finch area.

i thought that at first too, but went anyways turns out asside from JF and a few others no one was really above C so you get lots of good games in. even if you play someone way better then you, it feels good to shake their hand after and say gg, sportmanship haha.

kingston to heart of toronto is like 4 hoursish depending on traffic but from athens to kingston is around 50minutes yeah. LOL @ hitch hiking I may be able to get a relative to drive me though we shall see.

ToN are you at Queens? There is the tricolour bus that takes you to toronto/montreal for a LOT cheaper than the train ($30). If your not you can probably still take it.

Kingston to Toronto is 2h 30m driving. A bus will be much longer though. I was visiting someone and did the drive yesterday.
