WTF?), snow hurts people's eyes and ashworld has very limited decoration doodad lol next patch for BW should be that you can build things on installation now..

I do a lot of UMS mapping, and I can tell you that installation is not good at all for melee. For one, there are only 2 ramps, and they are both tiny. The fact that installation tiles are nigh unblendable does not help matters. Besides, the tileset is supposed to represent the inside of an installation. It wouldn't make sense to build buildings inside of a building. For the sake of trivia, there is a single installation tile that can be built upon.

That does not make sense at all. You do not resolve an imbalance by implementing an imbalance on the other side of the spectrum. All that does is rearrange what stages of an individual match are favourable towards what race. It does not help resolve the problem in the long run, merely compound it even further. Besides which, it should not be up to KeSPA to decide what race dominates during a specific season, but up to the players and their skill. KeSPA`s job, as far as mapmaking is concerned, should be to produce balanced maps and thus ensure that players are playing to as close of an even field as possible. Is it an easy job? No. But then again, KeSPA mapmakers are payed to do so and they have proven to be capable of producing such maps. Also, to be honest, I think KeSPA releases new maps way too frequently. Yes, a stagnant mappool is never a good thing, as the WC3 scene clearly shows. However, while constantly changing maps do keep the scene fresh and diverse, it also forces progamers to have to constantly play obscene amounts of games to get used to them (if they want to stay competitive). This, in turn, only contributes to the already large burnout rate among progamers. Plus, since KeSPA mapmakers are forced to produce large amounts of maps, the quality control of those maps suffers and thus abominations, such as Battle Royale and Demon`s Forest, are allowed to enter the scene. That is why for SC2, I hope that whoever will be in charge of the progaming mappool will take a golden middle approach and implement finely-tuned maps on a semi-frequent basis while not being afraid to ocassionally use some of the older balanced maps. As much as I love new maps like anyone else, we need to look at the big picture and do what is best for the proscene as a whole. Also, as far as I know, Space is not actually used all that often (although certainly more then Desert, Polar and Ashworld). Infact, prior to Match Point, the last space map was Andromeda and that map is faily old by now. EDIT: I apologise, Rush Hour 3 was the last space map. Still, Space is not as frequent as Jungle, Twillight and Badlands.
