- This is your 3rd time in a row to be in the semifinal of WCG Korea ▲ At 2007, I saw Free getting 4th place in the 3rd/4th place match. After the match we had dinner with each other. 4th place is just a bad place to be in so I wasn't that happy. I was afraid I might become a 4th placer so even during the holidays I felt very uncomfortable, so I practiced really hard.
- In 2007 you got a gold medal while in 2008 you got a silver medal ▲ To be honest I really wanted 2 gold medals for the WCG grand finals. This time in China I wish I can make it happen
- Your performance was excellent today, it looked like you practiced alot ▲ After reading Fantasy's interview, he talked as if he was going to be representing Korea. I felt like he was talking as if it was obvious he will win against me. After that point, my priorities wasn't to win today's game, rather try my best not to lose today. I practiced very hard, but I spent most of my time offracing in another server.
- Your macro management was great in set 1 ▲ I thought to myself if my build had even one small error I would be in a bad situation. But MBCgame heroes' Jaehoon has taught me some special tips at situations like these as a protoss player. I never tried the tips Jaehoon gave me during practice, but after the first attempt today I think this is a good build.
- You also won set 2 ▲ Fantasy uses very similar builds in every TvP. When people said Fantasy's TvP was invincible I also felt that it was at times. However there is a counter to everything. I knew as long as Fantasy didn't see my dark templar build I would win regardless. After seeing the scan in main expansion, I knew I was going to win.
- Who do you want to meet at the semifinals? ▲ I wish both players would get disqualified. I wish they both come to the stadium late allowing me to get to finals. But if I do end up in the 3rd/4th place match I wish I play anything except zerg (laughs). These days, PvZ is so hard for me. This Swarm Season is really killing my PvZ even in practice. I can even settle with 3rd place and bring this as a gift to my coach. I want to be first place, but to be honest with you, I think being 3rd place is as close as I'll ever get.
- Last words? ▲ When Head Coach January gets back, I want to give her a special gift. I wish the Zerg player at my Semifinal match wouldn't 'Tour (관광)' (word play of Touring/Raping. IE "LOL LET ME SHOW U A TOUR OF HOW TO RAPE THIS KID") me (laughs). These days I am practicing in a very relaxed manner. Since January isn't in the practice house, I am having such a blast with all this free time available to me (laughs). Okay I was kidding. When January comes back, I will try harder for our next proleague win.
"I wish Flash and I both can represent Korea" -Luxury
- You beat your younger brother Yarnc 2:0 ▲ Although I beat Yarnc, I'm not completely happy with this win. But this is the world of Winners and only Winners so I had no choice. Yarnc has lost in the finals so I was very worried whether today will send him into a spiraling slump.
- Technically, wouldn't you be one sending him into a slump (laughs) ▲ He'll get better soon.
- You must want your 2nd WCG grand final win ▲ It will be a very hard thing to accomplish, but I really want to try.
- Since you're in the semifinals now, you have a very high chance of representing Korea now. ▲ Although being in semifinals does allow you to have a high chance of representing Korea, dropping to 4th place is the worst thing possible. I really hope I don't get to place 3rd/4th place match this time again.
- Who do you want to play in semifinals? ▲ If I play against Bisu, I think I have a good chance of getting into finals. But, if flash comes by I think I'll have to play 3rd/4th place match. I wish flash gets to semifinals so we both can go to China.
- How are you spending your vacation? ▲ I am practicing really hard. These days my body is getting out of shape so my belly is getting larger. I had other medical treatments and they all told me my body was sick.
- Last words? ▲ Tomorrow Flash and Bisu are playing, and I really hope Flash wins. Also I want to thank all the zergs who practiced with me. Yarnc I know you lost to me today but I hope you get over it and become a better player.

I felt like he was talking as if it was obvious he will win against me. After that point, my priorities wasn't to win today's game, rather try my best not to lose today. Seee!! i knew it! Fantasy's interview was obviously saying that he will stomp Stork! Guess that did not happen. Time to lessen the cockiness level fantasy.
Haha, Stork is so self-degrading, I love that in a person.

Sounds like Fantasy kicked Stork into dino rage mode here, haha.

Stork is supposedly playing a lot of WoW. There have been rumors that he stopped playing for awhile only to practice hard for Incruit, but since he won it, he probably came back to playing.
Nice interviews, really like both of these players. It's nice of Lux to stick up for his teammate FlaSh too! Surprised that he wants FlaSh to do so well. Also maybe Lux's slump was because he was sick with a bloated gut or w/e n_n
Thanks for the translations, the stork interview is one of the best and most hillarious interviews that I have ever read in a long time. So much win.
"After reading Fantasy's interview, he talked as if he was going to be representing Korea. I felt like he was talking as if it was obvious he will win against me."
This win was well deserved, Fantasy's interview was way too cocky/arrogant.
"After that point, my priorities wasn't to win today's game, rather try my best not to lose today."
So self defeating.
" I tried to practice hard, but to be honest with you I offraced the whole time during the practice time."
He beat 2 Terrans 2-0, with no PvT practice at all, there is no reason to ever doubt this guy's PvT.
"I never tried the tips Jaehoon gave me during practice, but after the first attempt today I think this is a good build."
Rofl, losing a 12nex to 3 scvs and a normal 12/12 build and still beating the "best TvP" in the late game without practicing your builds is pretty hillarious.
" I wish both players would get disqualified. I wish they both come to the stadium late allowing me to get to finals. "
. Cheesing doesnt work vs JD/Kwanro either, since they are strongest at that stage of the game, he better pray that lux beats Bisu/Flash in order to have a chance.
"- Last words? ▲ When Head Coach January gets back, I want to give her a special gift. I wish the Zerg player at my Semifinal match wouldn't 'Tour' me (laughs). Hahahaaha
I also find it funny that Lux is really confident vs Bisu despite is terrible play vP in GOM and he thinks he is 100% loss vs Flash, that tells you how good flash is.

U have to love stork and the samsung house "aura". I feel very happy for Stork but I wanted a YarnC vs Flash Bo3 T_T Well this WCG is very good and I hope that keeps being like that

So you are taking someone on a trip/tour to andromeda.
Or does gwan gwang mean tour and not andromeda ;P? Meh.

no gwan gwang means Tour/trip.
People started using gwan-gwang to mean rape/heavy defeat a long time ago, and then when oov came around, they started calling him the bus driver, because he would take people on trips. After that, they started calling particularly hard defeats LONG trips, so it would go like "wow, oov sent him reallly far today." Eventually this got exaggerated even more so people would start calling it a "trip to andromeda" to mean a very far trip, or a very severe beating.
Hahaha, awesome interviews today : ) not like some standard Q&A korean sc ones.... > > and I'm equally happy to see both players make it to the semi-finals
Stork is chill as fuck. You can just imagine him with his feet up on the computer table, playing Starcraft disinterestedly.
"Oh, I beat Fantasy. Huh. Ah, hey, my anime torrent finished, gonna make some popcorn, kick back and...oh, a winner interview? Yeah whatever, go ahead and ask your questions bro. Zerg? Yeah man, I'll 100% definitely lose against Zerg."
I love stork haha. Take that Fantasy sucker. JD showed you where you at and now Stork and hopefully everyone else. HA! /steam
Loved the interview and storks replies. I'm hoping Luxury gets his ass handed back to him by Bisu (but Bisu is SKTI aka Fail, so I can't be too sure about that...) regardless Go Stork third medal WCG!
I mean, if YOU had to practice with him daily, you'd probably be even more scared. I can't imagine the amount of respect you'd get from having to spar with the kid and understand how truly good he is. Also ZvT is Lux's weakest MU so.
Also, Lux is sick? =( Poor guy, I'm sure his slump started well before that but being sick on top of it had to suck. Constant morale hits + sickness is a bad combo.
haha excellent interviews, not ur usual answers, didn't know Stork was so laid back guy ;p Lux seeming confident to win against Bisu but no hope against Flash!
Why is Stork so fucking awesome? Chill as hell, gives us ridiculous awesome interviews. Can totally imagine him repeating the phrase at Khan's place, "Practice?" Yeah screw that, I go play WoW and watch anime. I've got my gold, more than all you guys in this room can say.
That winner's interview for Stork is so funny. Poor Stork, even he knows his vZ is mediocre. At times, it's like watching a roller coaster ride. At times he might play well, but at other times he'll play like a complete idiot.
On another note, I could picture substituting Stork for Allen Iverson during that one interview: "Practice? Practice? We're talking about practice!"
Haha wow.. Stork is my new favorite protoss just because his personality seems so hilarious and lax. It's great to see Luxury coming back out and owning it up, and Fantasy getting roflstomped by Stork. Thanks for the interview!
Everyone knows stork only tries against the good players, which is why bisu always picks stork as his eternal super rival instead of the current superstars. When stork tries, even bisu goes down like a sack of potatoes.
Woowww..best interviews in a LONG time. This after the interview where stork says he's been trying to watch all 180 episodes of One Piece? Fucking classic.

Well, when Luxury can write off Bisu's PvZ like that, you know it's not about Stork's mediocre PvZ, but the difficulty of PvZ in general these days.
It would be hilarious if Stork decides to just off-race as terran next round out of frustration.

Actually, I'm one of the few that believe Stork has very good PvZ, not Bisu's godlike PvZ, but probably 3rd best PvZ'er or so
Yea, everyone says stork has mediocre pvz, but in reality, he is tied for the 2nd best pvz with jangbi. Thats how bad progamers are at pvz.

Maybe now, but in the dragon's era he and Jangbi were definitively below Kal and, more importantly, Free (the only dragon with a positive record against Jaedong). Universal slumps are crazy though. :>

It's what happens when you have an invitational of basically the best 20 players(plus 4 amateurs) in the world.

If I was a P progamer in the current scene I would seriously consider that, either that or 2gate every game. Maybe things will get better with the new batch of maps next season, Z got such good maps because they sucked last season so it's Ps turn.

So true, Fanta speaks about matches against top vT players as if he'd be heavy favorite every time. I'm glad s1 actually speaks about it in an interview
