A professional sport business needs a KESPA like organization to set up the rules but also something like a players union to fight for the rights of the players and as a balance to KESPA.

When I'm well versed in black voodoo crap I will curse the one responsible at Oz and make him lose his scrotum in a painful way. Paying peanuts to the one who dragged you to the PL finals. Coach saying he's their best player ever but does not value his worth...Fuck you Oz!

Maybe Jaedong retiring will show them how fucked up they are, but I really hope it won't have to come to that.

Use this to kick up a shit-storm about how terrible KeSPA is, and then return to the scene for SC2, free of the yoke that is KeSPA. He could use a month or two of rest, and it's not like he'd have trouble getting into the beta for SC2. By the way, the rule that says semi-pros can't play in OGN/MSL prelims is the dumbest fucking thing I have ever heard - why would you want to make it impossible to be an independent pro?

Look at the money they are already dropping for their own players. Teams obviously are dropping money in the first place to acquire these players, it's merely a cost/benefit analysis on whether or not it would be worth it. I think you need to lay off conspiracy theories. About Kespa (Korean e-Sports "Players" Association) The sort of cost/benefit analysis you mention only applies if there is a free market (ie. full information, number of teams able to bid = ∞, etc.)! This is an oligopoly. In this oligopoly a team sponsor might gain on a short-term basis from paying up and acquiring one good player, but it (as well as every other Kespa team sponsors) would certanly loose long-term as a result of player-wages going up. To make matters even worse, the people in control of the Kespa board is representatives from the broadcasting channels (OGN and MBC) and team sponsors. Normally organisations similar to Kespa would be run by some sorts of player representatives. This connotation of this is: The same people who decides on negotiation terms for the players, later negotiate with the players bound by these terms!

I still have good hopes for Jaedong remaining in Oz. The one thing that pisses me off though is that Jaedong himself has got no say in the matter.

Jaedong as 1-man-team. Just that he isn't allowed in any leagues. :/ Sucks for JD, probably. @evil - Probably 'fuck Hwaseung', not 'fuck Oz'. But when you start doing that you might as well go 'fuck Kespa'.

They are horrible, horrible for e-sports...but then almost every sport goes through this before a player organization emerges.

They were wrong. Because of their greed (because JD doesn't seem overworked where he'll die and prolly won the mouse because of so much work while Fantasy sucked it up) JD now suffers. Added to this fucking Kespa had to put in the double rule. Bunch of bitches. What a story. JD retiring cannot run to the states cause he has to learn english first that would take 2-3 months I guess? TheAntz was mentioning that he could instead win courage again by retiring and then a team could pick him up for 200+ ? Is that possible? When is Courage tournament?
