This could very well happen since Jaedong probably wouldn't practice for a match that means nothing to him. However I still see JD taking this round 3-0 as he seems to win ZvZs in his sleep.

Ya but knowing that if he throws the game he will eliminate a possible obstacle down the road might make playing shitty one game worthwhile.

JD has to win vs yarnc now, otherwise if Effort wins against Flash, a tiebreak will commence.

I wouldn't doubt that JD will be Yarnc. The question is will Effort beat Flash?

Even if the SC gods curse Jaedong and make him lose to Yarnc, then Effort beats Flash, Jaedong will be in tiebreak with 2 Zergs. Rape much?

If they match the seeds for the ro8 in the same way they did in the Batoo OSL it will look something like this

A1 vs C2 ((Z)Jaedong vs (P)Bisu is possible)
B1 vs D2 ((T)fantasy vs (T)Canata/(Z)by.hero)
C1 vs B2 ((P)Bisu vs (P)Stork?)
D1 vs A2 ((T)Leta vs ???)

The outcome is still very unclear

There was no fixed bracket for Batoo OSL. There was a drawing after the last tie breaker where a coach or a player (I forgot who) just picked lottery tickets out of boxes with the players names on it. As far as I remember, it was not fixed but random. With the exception of course that a group winner plays against a second place, and that you cannot play against the other player advancing from your group.

I think Flash really will force a tiebreaker. Flash can beat Effort (won't be easy), as long as he doesn't go for another absurd 1 fact into CC build vs a 2 hatchery build. As for Yarnc vs Jaedong, eliminating Flash by throwing the game would be the smartest idea, since JD will not lose to either zerg player in a Bo3. However, I think his competitive nature will not allow him to take a game off, and JD is likely quite confident he'll crush anyone he has to play next round, regardless of whom it may be.

But will Flash win said tiebreaker? I predict not so.

I don't think Jaedongs throwing anything...its not his personality. Bisu would if he was in this situation on he other hand...

Me either. Flash hasn't been doing great recently and it can be argued that Effort is the 2nd best Zerg there is.
