I need to preface this rant with a simple fact
regardless of what kind of prick i sometimes come off as on the internet
IRL i give as much respect as i can to those i believe deserve it.
I.E. a girlfriends parents.
I expect nothing less in return from anyone, and from most adults, that's really not a lot to ask.
So it begins.
I want to take my girlfriend, we will call her Kristen, back to my house so we can chill for a while. I'll make her dinner, something cute. That's how I roll. No. Her parents tell her "you're the girl. he can come spend time with your family."
I spend more fucking time with her family than I do my own. Is a little alone time that fucking much to ask for?
I try again a few days later. I want to take her out to dinner, some restaurant, then bring her back home. I figure that's failsafe. Every second accounted for, totally innocent, Nope. Shot down. Why you may ask?
She doesnt spend enough time with her family. When she's told this, her father is leaving for the night, her siblings are working on school projects 24/7, and her mother is watching television. Yeah. That's not hypocritical. I'm invited to, instead, eat at their house this morning(read: i was invited this morning to have dinner with them). Fine. I'll take it.
I come home from work this morning, 8.5 hours and up at 6, only to find out they changed their mind. They are ordering pizza faster than i can possibly get to her house, and going to some bullshit junior high performance. I'm still invited, of course, however. As if they really want me to come. I've never been dis-invited to a place.
When her parents jerk her around, that's their business. I've never been jerked around like a fucking puppet like that. I've never been disrespected by people I would expect to be more mature than that. I could not try harder to be sweeter and more respectful in front of them, and I could not have imagined being fucked over this hard by "mature adults."
This is fucking ridiculous.
I forgot to mention, now that my dinner plans have been so thoroughly raped 2x over, I'm eating by myself and having mcdonalds. Inconsiderate pricks.

Are either of the parents' birthdays coming up? Buy them a baby monitor so they can listen to everything you and your girlfriend do inside the house.
I'm guessing she is not old enough to drive or maker her own decisions.

First of all, sucks 2 be u rite now... OK obviously, they are simply over protective of their child(like mine -.-). They just want to make sure that you dont harm her in any way. But they are being fudging ass holes that way cuz ofc nice ppl dont do that.

It sounds like to me that her parents just don't trust you. Have you been dating her long? Maybe it might be a good idea to have a serious talk with her parents to tell them how you feel, and explain to them basically what you wrote here. If you tell them that you "RESPECT" and "HONOR" your girl friend and that "YOU WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING TO JEPORDIZE THIER (PARENTS) TRUST" usually parents are all over that. Just take some time to do this, and it should get better in the long run. Trust takes time, gl.

unfortunatly her parents prolly just dont give a shit about you. they probably think your trying to plant your demon seed in their sweet little princess. and have 0 respect for you. i know i would if i thought you was trying to bang my little girl. luckily time is on your side tho.. eventualy they will have to let go... but then again if your having issues and shes 19 sounds kinda extreme..

im not trying to say i dont appreciate the insight. its just astounding the more i hear the more reason this situation is utter garbage.

Wow, her parents sound like assholes. Sit them down and talk to them or something. If they don't listen or change there shit be like "fuck you, your daughter lost a boyfrined because you guys are scum." and just leave. That isn't right that they fuck your day up because they are PMS shit.

Talk to her and say that her parents are just retarded fucks, and they should be sent to TeamLiquid.net so they can get IP banned from fucking life.

I agree with this partially but the fact that they pay her tution is a way they can still tell her what to do I guess. Its so odd to hear so many stories about how parents are so strick. When I turned 18, my mom basically told me I am an adult now I can make my own schedules and come and go as I please - but if I was going to stay in her house still that I had to respect their stuff and still be respectful, which isn't that hard to do.
I do think that she should stand up to her parents in some way though. She is 19 and she can't allow for her parents to tell her what to do forever. All of them may not want to believe it but they are hindering her ability to grow and mature as an adult by continuing to monitor as they are.

yea i do think she can stand up to her parents a little bit. Tell them that she is an adult and that she deserves more freedom. MOST parents wont actually stop paying for their kids college because they don't want their kid to drop out. I dunno what her parents would do but she should still try to talk to them;/
