Just an update on the whole being married thing. I love it. I love my wife, I love having someone to come home to after work. I was always skeptical about that whole "when you find the one, you'll know" type bullshit but wow. My world has been getting brighter and better every day since I first met her more than a year ago.
Makeah (Pronounced Mah-Kay-Ah) was born on January 14th of this year. Anna, my wife, was in labor for 23 hours but she finally made it through. It was rough, watching her in so much pain and not being able to do anything about it.
Not sure how to put into words how I feel but I love this little ball of fuzzy pink in my arms. I am excited to be a dad and to spent countless hours changing diapers. In fact, I have her right now because she won't sleep. Little brat. =)
So pretty much, all you dads out there. We got it better then I ever thought possible.

Makeah is a Finnish name for "One who is sweet". No special meaning. We just liked the name and how it sounded.
Makeah Breanna Schultz. (Breanna is a combo of Brent and Anna.)
Poor girl. Half German/Half Korean with a Finnish first name. All sorts of confused when she gets older I'm sure.

Ironically I am fluent in English and Spanish and Anna was adopted from S.Korea and forgot the language by the time she was two.
Soooo.... She's going to learn Spanish! =)
