They're pretty much admitting that there is a heavy amount of match fixing going on. I'd use them as heavy evidence, after all, they are the ones most affected by match fixing. Pay attention to the date -- this was back in December. Second Image: Things in parenthesis are in context. This is a cafe post in a playground. There still seems to be people who don't believe in match fixing in Starcraft. There is match fixing in Starcraft. The biggest reason why people don't believe in match fixing in Starcraft is because they don't fix matches every day. "Photon"(Name of a user) posted a thread about Starcraft match fixing. He is correct. The players and the brokers do not directly bet on the game, nor do the "playgrounds"(what seems to be betting communities) There are three things that are needed to fix a match in Starcraft 1) A player who will join the scheme 2) The broker that manages that player 3) A huge better that "spins"(not 100% sure what they mean here) at least 10 playgrounds If these three conditions are met, then match fixing becomes possible. The brokers go around playgrounds, and look for a huge betters, and see how many playgrounds they can "spin". These brokers also pay attention to the odds given for Starcraft matches. After this, they approach this "huge better", to see if they're interested in a contract. In the comment thread the guy claims that Savior fixed the most number of matches, that a lot of the players in Hite got caught, and that the Hite's coach may be replaced soon. (note that this was back in february) He also commented that Flash is very honest (ie, not involved) Fourth Image: The Cafe Staff in a playground warning about Betting in games by UpMaGic, YellOw[ArnC], Luxury, because "everyone knows" there are forces behind planning their games. ----- "interesting" indeed. So there's evidence of this "even before the recent events", and the names seem to match up too well for comfort. | ||

Stork wanted to come in 2nd to avoid meeting Hwasin (I think) in the Ro8. To do that he needed to go 1-1 in the tiebreaker and have the other players go 2-0 and 0-2 (instead of both 1-1), which meant he needed to lose to the winner of White-Ra vs Ex. Presumably he banked on White-Ra beating Ex, so he threw his game vs White-Ra, but Ra lost to Ex. So they had another tiebreaker and the same thing happened again... and again. IIRC eventually Stork gave up and 2-0'd them, and went on to knock Hwasin out. | ||

watch from about 4:05 on until lux engages the marines with his drones. they just stand there and do not attack for most of the time. he gets his drones up by the marines. but they don't do anything. | ||

No. They killed 2 or 3 rines, but Hwasin had a nice spread of remaining rines and thus repelled the remaining drones. Granted, it wasn't wonderful control, but he was fucked at that point regardless. | ||
