Mornin' So yesterday i was playin football with a bunch of the guys, and the ball went over a pretty tall wall.. the guy who kicked it is a little over weight so i went for it. i got over it Ok, but when getting back my shoe caught on some wire at the top of it and i fell awkwardly, as soon as i hit the ground i felt a kinda tear in my foot, and it kinda went a bit sideways. i can still move my toes, and my foot properly but it hurts so bad. Im thinkin its a sprain.. should i go 2 doctor? i was barely able 2 drive 2 work this mornin.. how long does this shit last for? should i keep it elevated? does moving around a bit make it alot worse? or is it ok in small doses..
Thanks, Vex

Eh I wouldn't... I wouldn't take the day of work either.. If its sprained then it will heal easily by itself.. but that's just me..

Actually im not 100% certain its a sprain.. its sore at the joint and along the top from the joint to the start of the toes.. when i put pressure on it at all it hurts so bad. i cant afford to take days off work, deadlines comin up fast.

Go see a doctor, of course.
And if you think you can't afford to take time off work, at least go see a doctor so you can get some painkillers.

I did exactly the same thing a while back, felt same feeling when I landed etc, i went to the hospitol the next day cause i couldn't put any pressure on it at all. i'm 99% sure it's a sprain, when I went to the docter I was put on some heavy pain killers, given a support for my leg/foot and was told to totally relax it whilst doing some small exercises, like just rolling my foot around every hour or so for a week. this was some time last year and my foot still isin't totally better.

Lol, I love the, "Should I go to the doctor?"
Unless you are shit poor and hospital bills means sacrificing a week's food, then go already.
