TL I need your help.
I'm working for a real estate development company who is interested in opening a Korean night club in the greater DC area.
TL people living in the Greater DC Region, I need your help! I am interested to know where are the places that has a significant Korean/Korean-American population?
From what I know - are Annandale, VA (Near DC) and Ellicott City, MD (Near Baltimore) the two towns that has a significant Korean population/establishment? Can someone confirm this with me?
Also, what are some of the activities you do at night in the area? In particular, I'm interested in karaoke/night club establishments.

Annandale is FIIIIIIIILLED with korean-americans. Like...I'm pretty sure they are the majority over white people there. I could BS and say Chantilly has more koreans than korea does because we need a club here buuuut I'm not gonna do that to you.
Honestly though, Chantilly / Centreville has a pretty large populace. Enough that a few buildings here and there have korean signs above them instead of english ones.
You can't go to a "wrong spot" in northern VA if you're looking for a Korean Population.
Unless you go to Herndon. They might appreciate a spanish club, if you're in the business

Thanks Torenhire,
Chantilly/Centerville - are they more like emerging Korean neighborhoods that are still growing? Are the residents there students? business owners? commuters to/from DC?
and...any night activities?

My particular area of residence is in a little spot of nowhere, so I can't say 100% for sure. I just drive through it from time to time and notice the restaurants and supermarkets are all using Korean signs on them. I can tell you Centreville is a speck of dirt in northern VA. It's just a tiny Suburb. Chantilly is a little bigger but I'd be more obliged to tell you it feels like (to me) that most of the Korean populace is in Cville. There's not much in the terms of night activities in the area, to my knowledge a LOT of places in Northern VA frown upon the stuff. - Most of it gets put in DC.
I remember reading an article once about Downtown Annandale being renamed to "Koreatown"...kind of like Chinatown in DC and New York.. Downtown Annandale is probably your best bet.

Annandale, there is SO much awesome Korean food there.
I recently moved here 3 months ago to Silver Spring, and my Korean friend was working in DC. We went to Annandale like every 4 days or so, lol.
I don't remember seeing many karaoke/nightclub type places in the area, except one. Mostly a ton of restaurants.

As I have been going school at DC, I am familiar with the NOVA area especially Annandale where it is FILLED with Korean Americans. Basically they have all types of Korean stores there and what not and as far as I remember though, I've seen 2-3 karaoke places owned by Koreans in Annandale.... yet I don't believe I found any Korean nightclub..... a lot of restaurants yes....
so I'll say, if anything, nightclub might be a better shot at it...

Annandale is def. the place. It has the nickname of being "mini korea".
Seven Corners (in Falls Church VA) has a lot of asian americans, if they are korean i'm not sure, I know there are a few Vietnamese restaurants there.

Yeah Seven Corners and Eden is pretty much Viet-town, that place is sketchy as hell at night
