-The upgrade system worked like this: there were 6 slots you could upgrade. When you got a powerup token, the first slot would light up, then the second if you got a second one, etc. Each slot corresponded to a different part of the ship that you could upgrade. For example, the first slot was forward blaster power, the second slot would shoot missiles from your behind, etc. You had to press a button to "cash in" your powerup tokens, which meant that it cost 2 tokens to powerup the second slot, 3 to power up the 3rd, etc.
-It was on a website that made you pay to play the games on it. I was on a free trial and that's how I played the game.
-It was better than any web-based shooter on the internet today.
