-durable: ive dropped it several times onto concrete from chest-height and its fine, only a little bit of the paint stuff came off. very tough, tougher than ipods -longevity: got mine for xmas 2 years or something ago, no problems at all -touchpad: easy to use, has senstitivity settings etc etc -video: screen is great and fairly large (4 fingers by 3 fingers lol i dont have a ruler), clear picture. plays mpgs, avis etc. for some more obscure formats, youll probably need to convert them (it comes with a video converter). Sometimes it has trouble playing certain bitrates and aspect ratios but 95% of the time its fine and if it works on one VOD it should work on all of them. -sound: great -size: some people say its bulky, its fairly large but it fits in 1 hand easy enough. i used to go jogging all the time with it in one hand and i never dropped it or felt heavy or anything. i got it for about $300 a couple of years ago so it wasnt very expensive at the time. | ||

For me I have 40gb of music alone so the iPod Classic was the only choice. Of course Zune provides their alternatives but I don't know much about them. I wouldn't get an iPod nano if you plan to watch a lot of videos, tiny screen! | ||

BoT, I don't know what the singapore dollar amounts to but if its anything like an american dollar that sounds like a complete ripoff in the OP. 120 is 250$ and 8g touch is 230$. If I was you I'd get the 160g (350$) and buy it from the ipod store site because they engrave it for free and you will never find a physical store selling ipods for cheaper than any apple store anyways. (like even fucking wal mart has to sell them at the same price). Apple are jews like that. If you calculate the price with the size of the drive its clear that the 160 is the best bang for buck. It's also one of the newest and therefor is most updated. edit- BTW, apple has a 320 to be release/announced in the near future afaik. | ||
