Everyone knows that to play DotA, just like Starcraft, you need some sort of mod to play with reasonable latency. There are many ways to do this on PC:
ListChecker Delay Reducer DotA Client Many Ladder Warcraft III Mods Etc.
I've been searching for a while, but google has trouble giving me the topic I want. Oftentimes it brings of World of Warcraft addons and I'm uninterested in or just the PC version of the mod.
TL I need your help! I'm looking for ANY way to host with lan or reduced latency on battle.net on an Intel Macintosh Computer. Hell, even if it is a ladder client that works for mac I'd be okay with it. I know there must be something out there... I just can't seem to find it.
P.S. There is a darwine port for Warcraft III Delay Reducer. This claims to work for mac, but it will not. (Or if it will I don't know how to get it to work.) Also, please don't suggest hamachi. Theoretically it'll work, but I don't constantly have 9 people I know online ready to play dota.

there isnt anything like that for mac unfortunatly. the majority of people who play use windows and therefore its easier to get their program around to the majority of the populus.
you're just S.O.L. now use bootcamp.

Sorry, the world's most advanced operating system doesn't support this feature.

BootCamp, Start your Computer as PC just for gaming its easy. There are also Programs as CrossOver, that will make the PC program run into your regular mac, of course it won't be perfect. Search on Versiontracker.com CrossOver and you will have at least 2 -3 more programs related for this

and this is why i dont buy macs. why is there no program support? because nobody cares.
