I've been getting over confident often and not focusing on the game, mostly wandering away and playing extremely passively without thinking about much. Here's what I've come up with to get me better.
1. Stop worrying about how much I spam and spam as much
2. Think about how to improve during the game. Have a strategy in my head and a game plan for the day and try to carry it out, adapting as it needs fit.
3. Pwn koreans
Anyways this game I played was an interesting PvZ on Destination. It shows a correct wall-in haha. Looking at my buildling placement, I need to watch some mroe progame vods so I can think of a better way to organize my base. My gateways are all in one place and my tech buildings and pylons are sort of scattered all over the place. The gateway placement though I think has been slowing down my macro because it has been a bit difficult to keep track of which gateway I clicked on.
One mistake I saw was that I barely realized he would be going lurkers until it was almost too late. A while after I saw the second evo chamber and no spire, I thought to myself, wait he could be going lurkers! I also need to work on doing some more aggressive harassment with the shuttle.
Overall I felt that I had complete control throughout the game and I could focus more on harassment and better macro. From focusing on it, I need to work on
- Better gateway placement and macro cycle effeciency
- More Agressive Harassment via Multitasking
- Play the game Actively instead of passively
I think I felt in control of the game and could think about other stuff was because I finally learned the build order properly or I was just that much better than this choboling. Either way, I think this is the level of starcraft I need to be playing at consistently before improving. Mechanics are so hard to perfect
If you guys could give me some advice on what I could do better, that would be greatly appreciated improving my mechanics. I want progamer esq mechanics!
