Starcraft in the Millenium Lab

itzme_petey United States1400 Posts March 30 2009 14:08 GMT #1 My college experience has been filled with some great things, but none greater than this.. We have 4v4, 3v3, 1v1 and stuff all night in the lab. Everyone is about a D+ or D-, somewhere around there. We are able to play through the UPD network the lab has setup. A friend unzipped sc into a jumpdrive and we pass it around to load up. "Pass the rock" we would refer to the jump drive. We have like over 20+ players who play, this night happened to have only 10. There is actually like 5-6 girls that are pretty solid bgh players. Im going to miss business school and college in general, because of how fun SC is in the mill lab. Edit: Here is a regular conversation that starts a heated starcraft match at the lab. I made the video to copy the form of the one with Artosis vs Protoss user.

LOL so much for their contributions for the advancement of education. We use it for starcraft... We used to also play 10 on 10 counter strike. However, after Virginia Tech shootings, didn't seem like a good idea to keep playing. We had an incident of a student bringing guns to campus and shit, so we didnt want to draw attention to ourselves.

Osmoses Sweden5302 Posts March 30 2009 18:19 GMT #16 Aw, this reminds me of my Quake2 days in the computer lab at my high school =) I kicked ass, then after a few minutes I realized it was because everyone were standing completely still doing nothing and I call out "hey, what's up?" the second before I look up and see the school IT administrator standing right next to me watching. My ban from the school network came shortly after that.

itzme_petey United States1400 Posts March 30 2009 19:36 GMT #17 Yea, I feel an impending ban from the IT admins. However, they have not sent out an email or warned us about anything yet. Until then, we will have to keep the volume level as low as possible.
