My Mouse FINALLY WORKS AGAIN!!! sorta..

Well the title says it all. My mouse works like it was working 2 weeks ago... almost...

My Logitech Optical Cordless Desktop Model Number: Y-RK49

How I fixed my mouse?

1. Open the mouse (unscrew the screws)
2. Touch that bump thats the actual clicker of the mouse
3. Try pushing the most "inland" part of the left mouse button frame upward. What happened was that it shifted down ever so slightly.
4. Put it back to together

the last part took me a little while because I couldnt figure out where some of the parts went

the only side effect I got was that my mouse wheel doesnt click. I can spin it and its like an actual wheel... doesnt stop for some times XD. The scrolling works though

well anyway I am glad I fixed my mouse. Hope what I did might help some other person with mouse troubles.

I took the weight out of my mx300 and lost the spring for the mouse wheel in the process. So it stopped clicking, and you could flick it in one direction and it would spin for a couple seconds. Was kinda nice actually.

meh my mouse don't have screws on it, how was it broken before? was the clicks no sensative, like when you clicked it it didn't respond, or was the laser going crazy and not accurate, not following your commands?

no it was the left mouse button. for ex.

i select a a group of lots. right click to move them. press A and click somewhere.

they dont do anything after I press a... cuz that circle thing witht he dot in the middle enver went away.

Yeah mice like the MX 500? and the G9 have a glide time of middle button the scroll thing lasts for days i love it when Internet surfing it's nice and easy to go up and down pages
