Today, there were some people from USC come to my high school to collect some information about the school and the students. They interviewed some students and I was one of those students.
I was waiting to be interviewed. Feel boring so I took some chewing gum. And my turn had come. I walked in the room forget that I was chewing gum. I didn't realize that until the interviewer asked me if I was chewing gum. It was near half of the interview. They recorded the interview with a camera. And a whole freaking 10 minutes of me chewing gum while being interviewed was recorded. The interviewer told me that it was not good to chew gum in an interview.
Ahhh, I hope it won't affect the interview or lead to anythings bad.

They don't chew a gum during interviews, obviously...
No, seriously.
and you obviously couldnt hide that you were chewing a gum?? I can always hide gum, what was the interviewer gonna do to you? say "Open your mouth now! I wanna see if u have chewing gum". lol
I thought I should be honest and shouldn't hide it

prolly considered disrespectful? idk

You should be very ashamed of yourself.
It's considered somewhat disrespectfull to chew gum while talking to someone, someone that's not really close to you that is.
In any case, don't worry about it. Just don't bother applying for USC.
Well it doesn't sound like a really important interview so whatever.
Haha, that doesn't sound like a big deal. I bet you'll get over it in a week or so.
You should have offered some.

lol, wonder what will happen after I do that

this topic really makes me "awwwwwww" Guilford is so cute.
1. He admitted that he did a wrong thing and hopes everything goes well so that he didn't fucked up the interview. 2. so people stop chewing gum when they are 17? 3. I thought I should be honest and shouldn't hide it 4. I feel bad right now >"<

Lol you're going to be laughed at, it's going to be on the big screen and you will never have friends.

I wouldn't do it during a job interview but it's no big deal. If they use the recorded sessions for some sort of reference, then you have nothing to worry about. Whenever people come to your schools to do interviews, they end up just making half or most of the stuff up later on. The video camera is just there to make it look professional.
Yeah it's no big deal if it wasn't an actual interview to support an application for the school. This person probably has zero connection whatsoever to the admissions department and is either a) a prick for pointing your unintentional rudeness out to you or b) trying to be nice by pointing out your unintentional rudeness to you.
I think this interview is not really important too and that person was just being nice pointing out my mistake. If I remember it right, he was grading my English too and he is a lecturer from the American Language Institute Engineering Writing Program of USC or so.
But, I still feel not really well

I interviewed to become an Service Manager at a Wells Fargo and my interview went almost flawless... except branch manager calls me 2 days later and says that he loved the interview and that I should maybe not chew gum in my next interview hahahahah
it should be alrite
but since it was recorded that IS a lil embarrassing
haha
at least u won't do it on a job interview now that u've learned ur lesson
i bet they are going to use that footage to make a tv special
"Embarrasing Interviews Caught on Tape"
you will be the laughing stock of the entire world

I hate gum, ever since I sat on a piece and didn't realise I had this big white piece of gum on the back of my trousers for quite a while -_-

Just wait till your parents hear about this, you'll be in big trouble mister.
