Woohoo, I am gonna have a 3month stay in Korea for a research exchange, I am really excited about that. Definitely go watching some progames live in Seoul, hope it is easy to get a ticket as we have quite many tlnetters in korea ^^
For that to become reality and I will feel comfortable traveling around, I need now to come up with the proposal for studying the labor market issues in Korea. I have to think on my own about what kind of topic that is relevant in korea. I dont wanna be there completely blind about the country that is of my research, plus I must prepare a proposal to give local researchers in advance
I then work with them on this study after getting there.
So, anyone here has a good understanding on Korean Labor market, like employment, wage, skills, ect? I appreciate a lot if you give me some ideas and facts (but hey suggestion relating to Starcraft is just entirely not relevant, doubt there is child labor use here and there :p)
