Need some help from anyone who knows about Growler Guncam.

Bascially - when exporting the video as AVI i get the import % screen come up and close. It then says somethign to the effect of
Notification : If you are having problems exporting as AVI follow these steps. Followed the steps.

Yet it wont extract and a window called "XviD Status" comes up and does nothing and i cant get it to do shit.

Anyone help please, thank you in advance

Sounds like something could be up with your codec. I use guncam for all my recording and I've seen this problem before. Make sure you click "append selected film" and all your sliders are pulled all the way to the right. So that the entire clip is exported. Also I've gotten this problem for longer clips. How long is the video?

Also try downloading new Xvid codec.

I downloaded it and nothing works, and the video is 8~ minutes long

8 minutes should be fine. Hmm.

I wish I could recreate the error for me because I know I've had it before. Try restarting your comp. Sometimes the GCF file doesn't close right. Exporting an open file never turns out well.

Also you could just try and export as an uncompressed avi, but then your 8 minute clip is 6 gigs or more.
